This is for the green 48 pound testThe good:1) Its cheap. Its half the price of J-braid x4 which does the same job (J-braid is stiffer though). I have cast into the wind with the Super Strong Braided Fishing Line (SSBFL) and ZERO wind knots. Thats amazing.2) Its super abrasion resistant. I have snagged it on jetty rocks and it is for all intents and purposes snagged forever. I tried to rub it off of the rock and its just stuck there. I have inspected the line for wear and zero fraying and weak points. Ive had the line for multiple fishing trips and just abused the heck out of it. Never had a break off from big black and red drum (25lb and 20lb bull black and reds) and the fish had rubbed off the jetty but I landed them. J-braid x4 has had line fraying and weakening after ONE fishing session.The Bad:1) Nothing against Chinese products or China. I prefer USA products strictly due to patriotism.2) The color is not dark green. Its kind of an annoying bright blue green that fades to light green. Not the color I want. I bought it to blend into Texas waters. I think itll stand out.

Geologist who needed to lower expensive equipment into narrow wells 500 feet deep without friction or the fear of losing the equipment. This did the job just fine. Encountered many bends in the wells and never ever saw significant damage on the line. Really durable stuff. Next I will go fishing with it.

Good line for trolling or jigging. This is an economy version of the spectra superlines that allow you to hold more line and go deeper with less drag and almost no stretch. This line holds knots as well as any of the superbraids, and better than some of the coated, slicker lines.This probably isn't the best choice for a casting reel. I'd look for an 8-strand line because its a little smoother and should pay out better than this 4-strand braid. The newer coated lines probably cast better, too. For trolling or jigging, though, this stuff works great, especially if you're on a tight budget.Be sure to check the prices on all the different colors once you've selected the weight of line you want. Sometimes there's a deal on one of the colors that makes it really affordable. You might want to check the prices of larger spools of your selected weight, too. Sometimes you'll find that they've discounted one of the colors in a bulk-size spool that makes it cheaper than the smaller spools of the same weight test. This line is super thin and will look like your reel spool does not have enough line on it so be careful not to fill your spool with too much line.
