Good value for money, works a treat for fixing into plasterboard.

I live in a modern house so the majority of the house is plasterboard and these are great for fixing things to the wall that may need a little bit of weight, they are fairly easy to install and it's nice that it comes with the screws. It's up to you if you want to use the screws that come with it or use your own. I've used nylon ones in the past that just get chewed up so this is better given they are less likely to cause an issue.The only one issue that I have with them is the price, I don't think it's very competitive when you compare to other shops.

They come in a plain bag, the screws measure 40mm from the top of the head to the bottom, and 38mm for the shank. The head is 6mm diameter.The end of the screw in plug part, isn't very sharp at all where you'd be wanting to to be sharp for that initial bite into the plasterboard. While it should still work with a bit more effort, it isn't near as sharp as the ones I compared to in my toolbox. The threaded part of the plug part is okay, also not sharp, but should do the job in holding whatever is intended fine.Overall, at the price, where you could get double the amount for a little more elsewhere at better quality, I think they're pretty average. I'd give these 4 stars if the price were about £5.99 for 50 given the overall finish and packaging.

I got these because i thought they were straight forward, having used ones from other retailers.The screws rattle around in the mount, not the right size and certainly not fit for purpose.The mounts themselves are brittle, while manually screwing into basic plasterboard the ends snapped and became impossible to screw in properly.Useless product, but if you can get them in don’t use the screws provided as they don’t fit..

.. and quite secure, but if I were you I'd double up on their use just to be sure and ensure what you are fitting is more secure and stronger.

Buy these. They have a long internal screw thread. I’d tried others and the threads were too short for the L shaped hooks I needed to screw into the plasterboard fixing.
