This is a very well made lock that fits perfectly on my garden gate. The shackle is not only long enough but wide enough to go through both parts of the gate to lock it without any hassle. This is the first lock I’ve had that has fitted this well. It’s a heavy, sturdy lock and good value for the money. Previous locks I’ve used have all rusted and if it ever rains again I’ll be able to tell if this one will last longer than those. I also like that the combination numbers are on the bottom of the lock, which makes it very easy to see and use.

I need these padlocks for their long shanks as the shorter ones won't fit through my shed latches. These do the job well. I know they won't last forever as I've bought them in the past, but they last long enough (years) to get good value for money.

I used this to secure a chain for my bike. The very long shank is convenient as it accommodates the ends of the chain easily (trickier on an earlier padlock of more conventional size). Setting the number is easy and for a while it worked well. But then one day the number no longer opened the lock. By good luck, it was not locking the bike to anything at the time - it was just locked to the chain in my basket - so I just lost the chain, but if the bike had been locked to something it would have been highly inconvenient. I can't really recommend this any more.

Hopefully this saves some time by letting you know it fits the Keter shed handle. It’s the rounded handle my shed has. I like this lock because the number dial is underneath, protecting it from weather. With 3 kids, I didn’t want a lock with a key that could get lost, so this is ideal.

I can unlock this padlock without putting on my reading glasses which is more than I can say for similar bought for 3 times the price. Can't form an opinion of longevity as I have had it a couple of weeks. As to security I use this for an area of moderate importance. Let me hear someone breaking it and my dog will do the rest.

Great padlock. Just what I was looking for. It’s very well made & strong. The swivel bar is a good size which I needed for my storage container. Arrived within the time frame given. Very pleased with my purchase & would definitely buy again.
