Kung Fu Panda 2 [DVD]

This movie is a brilliant sequel to Kung Fu Panda and a must have for any Po fan's (the panda played by Jack Black). I bought this for my Son who loves the first movie and we have had this film on repeat most days since we received it. It is a huge hit in our house!We follow the story of how Po came to be involved in Kung Fu and the dark secret of his past. The Furious Five and the Dragon Warrior must take on an evil Peacock and stop him from taking over all of China. Meanwhile Po must learn how to face his demons and discover inner peace in order to save the day.All our favourite characters return in the sequel, played by the original actors from the first movie: Jackie Chan (monkey), Angelina Jolie (Tigress), David Cross (Crane), Seth Rogan (Mantis) Lucy Liu (Viper) and Jack Black (Po). This all star list of actors means that the fun and adventure never ends.

It's not often that a sequel is better than the original movie but Kung fu Panda 2 is one of those films. It's a film that both adults and children will enjoy.The animation is better and the 3D is really good. The story focuses more on Po and how he came to be raised by Mr. Ping the goose. It's a heart warming story that stresses how important family is no matter how it came to be. For anyone that has adopted a child this is a must see film.My kids watch it at least once a week and I don't mind watching it with them.

What's to be said about Kung Fu Panda 2?It's all star of course, if you haven't seen Gary Oldman as a peacock, have you lived? :PIt's really, REALLY clever though, it's not some "for the sake of it" children's remake but has a superb storyline to it in which Po must gather better skills than he has in the hope of defeating the evil against him. The 3D is good, not the best ever, but adds superb depth and interesting parts. The jokes are funny as the story itself is really sad in parts, even for children so humour is needed.Child, Adult, they will love this film and the 3D is a total bonus, I can't recommend it enough.

A really good film and fully justifiable as a follow-up to the execellent first KFP.Adults AND kids will enjoy this film. I thought it was so good and so clever that I bored my wife into a semi coma going on about it! But, now the DVD is out, she can at last see what all the fuss was about. (I took my daughter to see it in case you're thinking is this some saddo who not only goes to the pictues on his own, but goes to see kids' films too!)Buy this DVD, you won't regret it.

After reading the reviews on this film I was undecided whether it was worth seeing or not as we loved Kung Fu Panda 1 and didn't want to be disappointed but how wrong was I. Me and my son absolutely loved it and we agreed that is was better than the first one. Of course people have different opinions but I have watched kung fu panda 1 many times and kung fu panda 2 is better. It was awesome and I would recommend that you watch this with your kids, they will love it.

We got this for christmas and it has been watched several times. I much prefer this to the original film and am looking forward to Kung Fu Panda 3. The triple play version is great for us as we can watch it at home, on the computer and can take the dvd version in the car for long journeys. The film is maybe not as suitable for very young children (ours are 2 and 4 and are not that interested yet) but as an adult watching it, I love it.

Package and condition was good, movie - not so funny as the first one apparently ! often the case with sequels but family still seemed to enjoy.As usual , day or so after arrival it was on TV , ha !

Nice continuation of a silly, fun, entertaining cartoon. Enough adult-level jokes to keep adults entertained and enough child-humour to keep the little ones laughing.

Cet épisode est moins surprenant que le premier volet mais c'est toujours agréable de regarder ces films d'animation. Très rafraîchissant et tjs très délire. Je recommande vivement pour # 1h30 de dépaysement total.

A día de hoy dificil de encontrar salvo que la busques en un pack con la 1º película, es una edición excelente. La única pega que se le puede poner es los peros de bajarte la copia digital incluída en la película, lo cual es bastante lioso y complicado.Recomendada si ests interesado/a en la película.

Die Fortsetzung des erfolgreichen ersten Teils ist wunderbar geglückt!Po hat natürlich nicht ein Gramm abgenommen und ist sympathisch, tollpatschig wie eh und je.Auch seine Freunde die Furiosen Fünf, Tigress,Viper,Monkey,Crane und Mantis, kämpfen fantastisch mit Po zusammen gegen den dunklen Lord Shen. Dieser böse Pfau hat eine Waffe erfunden, die Kung Fu vernichten könnte. Po und seine Freunde müssen ihn aufhalten!Die Geschichte ist wunderbar erzählt und der Zuschauer erfährt auch wie Po zu einem Gänserich als Vater gekommen ist.Die unglaublich gut animierten Figuren und ganz zu schweigen von der fantastischen Landschaft, ist dieser Film einer der besten Animationsfilme diesen Jahres!!!Untermalt wird die Geschichte von der tollen Filmmusik, komponiert von Hans Zimmer und John Powell.Alles in allem bietet dieser Film Spaß,Action und eine wunderbare Geschichte.Jeder der etwas anderes behauptet sollte sich schämen.Die Synchronisation der Charakter(Hape Kerkeling, Cosma Shiva Hagen, Bettina Zimmermann, Ralf Schmitz und viele viele andere) ist fantastisch und unheimlich gut bestzt.Die Extras der DVD sind auch spitze!Ein Blick ins Synchronstudio mit den amerikanischen Schaupielern bzw. Synchronsprechern(u.a. Jack Black, Angelina Jolie)zeigt die Arbeit die hinter so einem fantastischen Film stecken.Ich kann den Kauf nur empfehlen!Die FSK ab 6 Jahren freigegeben sollte eingehalten werden, da der Film an der ein oder anderen Stelle, ziemlich düster sein kann. Ich selbst war DREIMAL im Kino. Einmal mit meinem kleinen Cousin(7): Er fand ihn klasse :DSo wie ich!Ich liebe die Geschichte über Po und seinen Weg zum Kung Fu Meister.Wie auch im ersten Teil begeistert mich dieser Film durch die Tiefe, die er uns zeigt: Po findet seinen inneren Frieden und das soll einer von uns mal nachmachen!Ich wünsche euch viel Spaß beim schauen!!!!
