BIKE COVERS WATERPROOF MATERIAL AIR VENTED SECURE FIT ALL NEW STOCK

I live in London and my bicycle is kept on a rack outside to keep the worst of the weather off it. I've only had it a few weeks so far, but it seems pretty reasonable. It's seen a few deluges (the early August showers of 2012) and still seems good as new. It's a reasonable size, I'm storing 1 MTB frame with 26" tyres. It's made of the nylon fabric weave with a plastic undercoating so the rain should mostly just drain straight off it.Maybe it can tear if you treat it badly, or roughly pull it off the bike, but you'd only have yourself to blame. Because I'm in London I'm concerned about people knicking it, so ideally I'd like it to have proper ring holes at the bottom that could've doubled up as extra securing for long term use (or preventing it being a cat hangout!) - but it does have an elastic toggle and I loop my bike lock through it so it's not going anywhere without being damaged and hopefully a minor deterrant from opportunistic light fingers! Some have complained that this type creates a moisture build up underneath, but I've not observed that (probably not had it long enough).

I've only had this for a fortnight or so so I can't comment on long time durability however it seems very sturdy, has air vents and so far has with-stood some strong winds.I bought it to replace a previous one I had which was rubbish (can't remember the brand but it had bike pictures printed on it). This previous one ripped as soon as I put it on the bike, was very thing material. When it was windy the cover would start to blow off the bike and would rip anywhere it was attached firmly. It also caught the wind to the extent that my bike was constantly being blown over and pushed down the garden.This one seems good, especially in comparison to the other one which, while around £10- £15 cheaper is definitely a false economy.

My bike is a Claud Butler hybrid, 20" frame and cover fits all but bottom inch of tyres, however, saddle bags and rear wheel stand are also covered. The material seems to be quite sturdy, The only clue for fitment is a small cloth tag labelled "FRONT" which could be easily overlooked. A design modification to clearly delineate handle-bars and saddle areas by means of general tailoring would be useful. It was not necessary to cut the elasticated hem-band to obtain a reasonable fit. There is a velcro strap which I think is intended to loop through something to secure the cover across the underside of the cycle. I could not spot any means of doing so. At least three straps with corresponding buckles on the opposite side would be more useful. I await the first high wind to see if it stays on. The fitting of the cover is left pretty much to one's own sense/eccentricity since no guidance leaflet is included

I've had this cover for a couple of weeks now and I must agree that this is a well made cover, it's thick, waterproof and hasn't come off in in the wind.It is a little tricky to put on but I'm sure this will get easier with practise.I have a Hybrid 19" frame bike and it has no problem covering it all the way down so only an inch or so of the wheels are showing.Only 4 stars not five as the 5 star rating would mean absolute perfection, but for what it is a solid 4 stars.I might get one for the bbq as well :)

This bike-cover only just fitted my 29er with mudguards fitted, and wide bars. It is made of good waterproof material and shaped for the bars and seat and looks a lot better on my bike then the photo. But I noticed some bad stitching when I turned it inside out to check. I did stitch the cover myself before pay the return postage and risk it getting lost in transit. Size Width at handlebars-90cm/ H-100 cm/ L 130 cm

Its a good well made bike cover that comes in a nice pouch and there is a label to show you the front but the only trouble with these bike covers [not neccasirally this one] is that they all fit too tightly from the back to the front it just makes it frustrating to put on if your looking for a dust cover only then maybe buy a cheap motorbike cover that should just throw over the bike.

I recently purchased this cover for my father inlaw for his birthday, and was pleased with the delivery time and the cover itself.Its pretty strong material and keeps the rain out well (i live in the channel islands and when it rains, it rains.)the cover is a snug fit so wont blow off easily and comes with good strong velcro strips to keep it in place. All in all a very good buy, and some great brownie points earned with the father in law.

This bike cover is hard wearing and looks great. My only criticism is that I cannot chain it to a post in the back garden to secure it, as the cover does not then fit on it. So a future enhancement would be to fix an opening where a chain or other locking device could be attached to the bike without affecting the covering of the bike. Otherwise it works wel.
