You have to be careful to make sure that your furniture (or whatever) legs will fit into the recesses on top, but otherwise they're very sturdy and stable. We needed to raise a long 4-legged console table that lives between the back of our couch and the wall. It was simply a couple of inches too short for convenient access and you couldn't see the bottom halves of the framed photos. I measured the legs carefully, found that they would fit perfectly and bought this set. Got the table up and positioned this morning. Perfect solution - as the risers can't be seen anyway. Very solid construction.

I got them to raise our sofa a bit so it would be easier to get off without stress on my knees. So far so good.They look very nice too.

They need to make these in other sizes these are well worth the extra cost both for strength & looks when adding them to quality furniture.

These are for a dresser for a tv. Wish they could have been 4 or 5 inches, but the color is a good match for the dresser.
