Bought for my friend from Asia. She wears them all the time and really like. They are not super sturdy.

We love these! They are so beautiful. We have really thick hair so it only holds up half of it but they are really cute. We had to buy more!

I use this mainly these to pull my hair up they do not slip out of my hair I love the flower decorations on all of the hair sticks, The only problem I have is one of the flower petals broke off in the bag but I’m sure some glue can fix it.

I love hair sticks! I wear them everyday so I was really happy to find these! My hair is over forty inches long and I can put it up with just one of these sticks so you should be fine as these are not extra long sticks. The lengths are average. The sticks are really smooth (except for the pink and purple one, it snagged my hair a bit going in, but not out). and don’t catch in my hair. They hold rock solid. They didn’t slip. I like when the beads make little sounds as you move your head. I also like that they have different shades of red: a warmer orange red butterfly and a darker cool tone red rose. The colors included should match most outfits and are really nice :) Oh, and they aren't heavy at all. I can't feel them really.They are seven inches long but the decoration goes down the stick, so the functional length is actually from 4-7/8” (the blue butterfly one) to 5-9/16” (the white and green one). The enamel work is neat. The strings are very neatly wrapped and sealed to the stick. The metal parts are held in place by the string so it’s unlikely that they will fall off. The jump rings are closed neatly, without gaps that might catch in your hair.I really like them and am glad they are mine! Much recommend!P.S. The long beads on the chain will catch on thicker wispies, and your hair if your bun is loose though.

The hair sticks are wood (just as described), not plastic like on other styles you'll sometimes see. And the petals of the flowers & beading are a nice quality and well-crafted, not cheap looking, especially for what you might expect at this price-point. (The faux metal detailing & bead caps, though, are not hardy like stainless steel, so I would handle those parts delicately.) Just make sure to place it securely in your hairstyle, since the hair stick itself is a lightweight wood, so all the weight is at the decorative end. (You can insert them vertically, if you don't want to have to worry about the hair stick falling out.) I collect hair sticks, so I've paid a wide range of prices for various styles, and getting 8 lovely pieces, in a variety of colors & textures, at this value is pretty awesome.
