These are great for beginners. Among the best. There are a number of options with crappy heads and mesh. Not these. The shaft is a plastic and bendy but we bought these for 4 and 6 year old to learn the game. The mesh is strung really well and good quality. The head is solid. The shaft circumference being smaller is great for youth. Can't beat these for the money, this is what all kids should start with. Will come back to signature for our next sticks.

This stick is perfect for a beginner. I highly recommend it if you don't want to buy an expensive one for your child because you don't know if it's something they will like or will stick with. It is lightweight and worked well for my kindergartner when he attended a one-day lacrosse camp. This stick is inexpensive compared to most, making it a good value for a beginner. My son competed with it at the camp and even won some skills competitions with it. Other kids had higher-end more expensive sticks but it didn't make a difference in terms of the performance at this camp. I assume it won't hold us as well as the more expensive sticks, but for a beginner, I highly recommend this!

Perfect and light for our 7 year old beginner!

Bought a few from academy and Dicks but turned out to be wrong style. Ordered this one on a Hail Mary and son’s school said it was perfect for 8 to 10 year old lacrosse

My nephew has taken up lacrosse and just loves it so I wanted to get him some good gear. Not great, expensive gear just in case he ended up not liking the sport, but at least something decent to get him through giving it a good try. Now he’s really involved in it and I thought I might have to upgrade his stick. Nope! No need. This beginner stick has been amazing. He says it’s lightweight and easy to run with and is now his lucky stick so no way he’s getting rid of it. It really is exceptional quality and he’s proud to sport it on the field even though there are some kids with fancier, much more expensive sticks out there. The stick doesn’t make the player I guess you could say. Would definitely buy this again.
