Draughty
Not happy with this at all. The fixing points are back to back so had to make extra holes, the plastic door has a large gap at the top so very draughty & let in the rain. First time the cat used it the door cracked out of its frame. Removed & put in bin.

IT'S PROBABLY OK FOR CATS BUT NOT SMALL DOGS, AS IT FALLS A PART REALLY EASILY
Hi This is the third of these that i have had to purchase. You ask why a keep buying them?Basically they fit the hole in our new expensive never to be replaced back door.Generally works OK when new, but within days the felt seal falls off.The lock is totally useless, as it doesn't slide well with fingers, but some how the dog/cat manage to lock themselves in or out on a whim.We have a small Terrier cross and she really like squirrels, cats, birds etc. She fly's through the door at speed and the hinge is rubbish so the clear door fly's with her! Plus the door is a bit week so it has also shattered a couple of times.I would not recommend this for a dog at all, a nice gentle cat would probably be OK. But you will either have to forget about the seal or keep gluing it back on as I do. Also before use make sure the magnet is doubly secured with tape or glue as they fall out and disappear. We have tried a number of cat/dog doors over the last twenty years and this is like all of them a OK but a bit pants.

It works
Very inexpensive cat flap (large size) that's not too difficult to install. This has been fitted on an internal solid wood utility door (35mm deep) so don't know how it performs outside. Inside it's great. Be aware - it's fitted using 4 screws on each side - not straight through screws/bolts - so it needs a door that can be screwed into.

Edges come off within 2 months and then the flap swings in the wind
I have ordered 2 of these and the stick on brush around the door works off quite quickly and then the wind just comes into you house.

only fits thicker doors.
quite a fuss to fit it into door opening where an older model catflap had been before it collapsed. This catflap is suitable for a thick wooden door and would not fit into my other, thinner door where I have a second catflap to repair. With a door 3 cm thick it works a treat thanks to the telescoping middle section.

Top Munster Cat Flaps,4-Way Locking Cat Door
I bought the large as wanted decent room for the cat. Easy to install as have installed this type before. However, just a suggestion.... A template would be a good idea, I drew out my own as one was no included, makes life easier when deciding where to place it......
