Functionally this press is as good as others I have had. I love the base that comes with it as it makes it seam more stable. Also, the extra filters makes it nice if you want to use finer grounds or need to replace the installed one. I wish the glass was a little thicker. I will need to be careful as it seams like it could break easily (I broke my last one).

I had tried a french press once before and wanted to get one for my home. I was so excited to make coffee this way at home. I love that the jar has no metal so that i can reheat my coffee when my kids distract me from getting to drink it. It comes with 2 replacement filters for the press too! I did realize that i needed the course coffee for this preparation. I love the flavor of making coffee this way with this coffee maker!

Very fragile, the metal bar bent after 2nd or 3rd use.. Screen could be finer so that even coarse ground coffee didn't permeate through.EDIT- company followed up with me and provided a replacement promptly that has been working well

I bought it because I thought it was the mini 1 cup version of the French press. It's a big one! I am very happy with quality and price!

The plastic handle makes this feel like the whole thing is plastic. I almost returned it. Not sure what they are calling a stainless steel lip, but the spout filter is plastic. The base is flimsy and slides around. I do not recommend this.

This is not our first French press, but we love this one the best. My morning coffee in bed has never tasted better.

Great choice for a family tea after dinner. Large capacity and good price.

J'ai acheté cette "cafetière française" pour gouter à nouveau à du bon café parce que j'en ai marre des cafés des machines à dosettes. J4ai une tassimo, c'est bien pratique mais c'est cher et en plus j'arrive pas à trouver de bon café, mais je parle de café de qualité pour avoir de la quantité. Je suis un gros consommateur de café et j'aime boire des mugs bien remplis, à l'américaine !Du coup je choisis le café moulu que je veux, ou en grain que je mouds moi meme et c'est parti.C'est très facile à utiliser.On met le café dans le fond de la cafetière, on rempli d'eau chaude, et on presse. le café est ainsi ramener vers le fond et y'a plus qu'à servir.Idem pour le thé à la menthe. J'adore ca étant d'origine marocaine, j'ne bois tous les jours.Avec ca c'est plus facile à préparer qu'avec la théière meme si j'y perds le charme de pouvoir verser le thé à la marocaine !mais le filtre permet de ne pas laisser passer la moindre saleté du thé vert de Chine, et c'est beaucoup plus appréciable de boire son thé ainsi.Alors pour le thé on met le thé vert de chine dans le fond, on ajoute la menthe, le sucre et on verse l'eau.On laisse infuser deux minutes et on presse. un régal !Pour un litre d'eau je mets 12 sucres roux.Sinon très jolie cafetière toute en verre c'est d'ailleurs pour cela que j'ai choisi celle ci. Son manche est en verre et est incorporé dans le vase.Elle est très jolie,.La presse est en acier inox.Le socle est en caoutchouc et il est amovibleLe tout se lave facilement et peut aller au lave vaisselle.

Das gelieferte Produkt entspricht den Bildern. Der Kaffeezubereiter funktioniert einwandfrei. Der Hersteller liefert sogar noch ein zusätzliches Sieb mit, das einfach montiert werden kann. Bedauerlicherweise ist das Produkt nicht spülmaschinengeeignet, womit der Hersteller aber auch nicht wirbt. Trotzdem deswegen nur vier Sterne, da ein solches Produkt im Alltag ständig verwendet wird und man es auch einmal in die Spülmaschine geben können sollte. Das habe ich testweise auch gemacht und nach 6 Spülgängen ist die Skalierung fast verschwunden und das Gewinde hat sich verfärbt. Da ich die Skalierung nicht brauche, spielt das für mich keine Rolle. Die Verfärbung des Gewindes ist auch nur eine optische Sache und ist der Tatsache geschuldet, dass für solche Bauteile eine andere Stahl-Legierung verwendet wird, um eine höhere Festigkeit zu erreichen und diese sich in Kontakt mit dem Spülmaschinenreiniger verfärbt. Zuguterletzt sollte der Hersteller das FDA Zertifikat auch einmal hochladen, wenn er damit wirbt, da sonst die versprochene Beruhigung nicht eintritt. Also unter dem Strich ein mit einer Einschränkung zu empfehlendes Produkt.

Tolle Kanne, die hält was sie verspricht, es sind sogar noch weitere Siebe enthalten, die man bei Bedarf einsetzen kann, für z.B. sehr fein gemahlenen Kaffee. Ich selbst benutze die Kanne als Teekanne um Pfefferminztee und dergleichen aus dem Garten aufzubrühen. Einfach alle Stängel und Blätter in die Kanne reingeben, kochendes Wasser draufgießen und nach der Ziehzeit mit dem Sieb nach unten pressen. Viel besser als die getrockneter Blätter in einen Teebeutel oder Teeei zu krümeln!

This French Press is made really well. It also came with extra filtration screens which means that it will last me for a really long time! The design is beautiful too - I like how it has a glass handle. I highly recommend this product!

Je recommande cette cafetière rapide facile on a vraiment le goût de café expresso encore mieux qu'une cafetière traditionnel électrique plus long moins meilleur rien à dire sur ce produit!
