10M x 2M Frost & Insect Protection Sheet Roll Garden Plants Crop Fleece Protect

I am new to my allotment and a complete novice. I was told by a more experienced allotmenteer that i planted my onions. garlic and shallots too soon for my exposed allotment with heavy soil, in wet Scottish weather. However as i couldn't wait to get them planted so i covered them with this fleece. Imagine my excitement when they all come up and seem to be growing nicely. when i take sneaky peek it feels warm underneath. The water does run off a bit but some does get through. Just means they dont drown. i will be buying again for next year. Also i planted spring onions in a planter and covered it with fleece until one sunny day i thought id let them get some sun, i forgot to tuck them up again at night and the foxes had a great time digging them up. So not only keeps my plants warm and saves them from drowning but protects from the local wildlife.

As it's not in a roll it's difficult to work with and you need a lot of space to cut etc but the product is strong and warm so does the trick

I can't comment on how well this works as a frost guard, but as a liner in two kitty litter trays it works perfectly! It also comes on a roll, not in a pack as the picture implies, which is better for my purpose as I just roll off the amount I need and cut.

Very speedy service, well packaged. A good product for the job (althoughj it hasn't been tested that hard yet, due to not much frost) but it's keeping the plants tucked up nicely.

They are great for keeping the chill out of the tender plants in my green house. The light can get through this material so not necessary to keep removing during the daylight hours and replacing during the darkness. So far so good and can recommendcosy sheeting

Excellent for protection but doesn't allow the rain to pas through.
