nice upgrade for a older bike.

these are a nice subtle upgrade over the plastic end caps.

Awesome works great on my handle bar. Wish the screws were black but I like it.

The visible portion of these handlebar end plugs is aluminum with a plain (I assume anodized) finish. They look great with the black bar tape I use on my bikes. I prefer the absence of logos or other designs, and these have none. Installation was super easy, just insert each one and tighten the fastening bolt with the provided allen wrench. They are very secure when installed, and also look better than the cheap plastic plugs that are typically provided with bar tape.

I like the color match my grips but the problem is don’t lock the way i specter the more i tide it the cover coming out don’t lock inside the way are supposed to do

The plastic expansion plug fits most flat and cruiser bars made of aluminum. Too big for carbon, and too small for steel.The plug has is a medium hard plastic with a small hex nut embedded. There is no stop plate, so if you over-tighten, it destroys the plug by pulling the nut out.Proper tightness is using the short arm to finger tighten, then the long arm another quarter turn.This is not enough to lock it hard in place, and is nothing like the expansion plugs for headset pre-tension.The flats of the cap are tapered, so there is a little gap left for grit. The overall diameter of the cap is enough to cover the pipe, but not enough to cover the grip ends.There are many resellers of this same style of cap, all effectively the same. This was the lowest cost when I was buying.These are fine to keep you from coring yourself in a crash, but do not expect a finished look.

They did what was expected of them.

Easy to install. Very much more secure that push fit plugs. Low cost. Coordinated look for my bike.
