Stainless Steel DIY Hand-Crimp Threaded Tensioner Ends for 1/8" Cable Railing (3-3/4” Long, for Wood Or Metal Posts) - Lot of 100

These fittings were perfect for our installation. Good fitment and stainless steel. Unfortunately, about 30% of the pieces came with burrs or damaged threads, which required using a thread chaser to clean up the threads before I could install the tensioner ends. It did not render any of the pieces unusable, but was a nuisance I did not expect with brand new threaded hardware.

Paid $3 ea for these threaded Swage fittings. Seem to be no different than the same style I have used in the past for $1ea. The VVC letters etched into fitting looks neat, will never see it however once hidden inside of 4x4 post.

These worked amazingly. Please note that these are great for using for the cable wires in our deck. I will say that while it looks amazing when it is done, we have built three houses, and this was by far the most frustrating project we have ever done. Just be aware it isn't as easy as they make it look on the videos!

Work well for small diameter wire. You need a very large handled tool to make three crimps per piece as recommended.
