Amazing support and comfrot
I purchased these shoes after sustaining a foot injury. These were recommended to me for support. The foot bed accommodates my wide foot, arch support is excellent for those of us with a high instep and the "heel to toe" feel when walking is a new and welcome experience in a shoe. They're not the most flattering in appearance but that wasn't my goal.

Comfortable for wide feet
I love this shoe! I usually buy wide shoes but read a review that these run wide and decided to take a chance. They are so comfortable, I wore them all day the first day, with thick socks even! No blisters, no rubbing, no discomfort. I even like the rocker action as I feel it splays my toes out as I walk - and there is enough room in the toe box for that. In fact, I just bought the same shoe in different color. I bought my regular size 6.

Perfect rocker shoe
I like that this shoe has great arch support and a round toe box. The fit was correct in sizing.

Knee and ankle pain, odd gait
I have had both of my knees replaced and have hypermobile joints. These shoes were very comfortable and cushiony for my feet. However, the way they are shaped kind of propels you forward. Have to be careful not to fall when going down steps. Significant ankle and knee pain while walking and even worse the day after my walk. These are probably great shoes for people with stable joints, and good knees/ankles. However, if you have any balance issues, hypermobile joints, and/or knee or ankle problems, these are not for you.

I was Keen to try these!
I have wide feet and high arches. I got these hoping they would work (even though they aren't listed as wide). They are true to size in length! They are a little narrow for a wide foot but when I stretch out the shoe laces in the toe box they fit as I would want, and after breaking in they are SO comfortable! They are different feeling on, and take a little getting used to. There is good role throughout the shoe, when you walk, from heal to toe. I would recommend wearing them and breaking them in for a while before going on a long walk. They have excellent arch support with each step that actually hits each arch in the right places. This is probably the first shoe, ever, to do that on both feet! I love this feature and it's probably my favorite thing about the shoe! It reminds me of some orthotics I have except it comes already in the shoe! These have become my go to shoe! When I first got them I wasn't thrilled and they stayed in my closet for a week or so before I tried them out again... but after wearing them a little while I realized how much I love them! I have chronic knee and hip problems and can walk miles in these with no pain. I actually hiked 6 miles today in these and had absolutely no pain afterwards. That NEVER happens. I am loving these shoes and can recommend them if you have high arches!

These shoes will put a spring in your step!
At first glance, the KEEN Wk450 shoes might look a little unusual because of the curved sole, but once you get used to the effect that the sole gives you as you're walking, you will soon forget that yes, they are a little funny looking. The effect I mention is a sensation of truly having a spring in your step! It feels like the shoes are propelling you forward as you walk, and that is a really good thing. In terms of design, I just love the look, the colors, and the elements of the upper with the low walls on the side of the ankles that then rise to support the back of the foot. The laces are easy to adjust and tie and the material is breathable and easy to clean. The sole is very resilient as I have been walking on gravel roads showing little if any wear, at least so far.In terms of quality of material and construction, it is flawless. As mentioned, a breathable beautifully stitched upper and a resilient sole. Definitely happy with the performance and looks of this quality pair of training/walking shoes.

True to size
This is my first pair of Keens and I don't usually order athletic shoes in this price range, as I am not an athlete.I call my athletic shoes "sneakers" or "gym shoes" and I use them as all purpose shoes - walking, yard work, grocery shopping, on the elliptical. But these are dedicated walking shoes. The center of the sole is thicker then then ends, creating a rocking motion.I have not actually done any walking recently, as it is winter, so I have only walked in the garage with them to see how I liked them. And I think I do. But I would not wear them for any of the other activities that I normally wear gym shoes for.I can say these are light weight, solidly constructed and well ventilated.

Uncomfortable if you have plantar fasciitis
Was really excited to try these walking shoes as I've previously worn KEENs and really liked them. I needed something comfortable and lightweight. However, the high arch and thick sole make them very painful for my plantar fasciitis and I am unable to wear them.

Most comfortable shoe I've ever put on my feet
Honestly, these are the best shoes I've ever purchased. Yes, they are expensive but in my case, they are extremely helpful for my condition. This is why the shoe works so well for me:1. I have high arches2. I have wide feet3. I have issues with my spine (thoracic scoliosis and flat back)Normally, the spine has several gentle front-to-back curves. Due to the way my spine developed, I do not have the natural lateral curve that most people do. As a result, I hit the ground heel first and over the years that has not been great for my back. These shoes essentially eliminate the ability to hit the ground heel first which none of us should do anyway. I hit with the middle of my foot with these on. I suspect they will be very beneficial to my spine in the long run. I am going to buy another pair for indoor use only as I walk on a treadmill desk while working.I am pretty sure KEEN did not make these shoes for people with scoliosis or a flat lateral spine, but they should consider thinking about those of us who have issues with our backs when they promote these shoes as well as continue making shoes to help with various conditions.I am so happy with these.
