Easy to Handle
I do like this carafe, but almost wish it were a little bigger, but if it were it might not be as easy to handle with arthritic hands (mine). It is well made. The glass part is heavy enough to not break if you accidentally bump it against the counter (didn't try it). I had to rearrange the door of my refrigerator to accommodate the height. We have one of those side by side jobs and shelving is a booger. I saw where some reviews were complaining about no instructions...they are printed on the box. I took pictures of them in case my old brain forgot them. I will use this every day or every other day because I learned to like iced coffee from my grandparents and it stuck. As a teen I worked in a cafe and was taught to put a few ice cubes (small or cracked ice) in the glass pot along with a bit of water. You swish this around and it will remove the coffee line in the pot. I didn't have to do it this time, but thought I would mention it as some were discussing how to clean it. Sorry this is so long and unorganized. If I can do it later I will add the photos so those that missed the instructions can see them (pictures on cell and I am on desk top now).

Over all good
Over all 4 stars because I feel the top is said to be an air tight lid but it’s not and 110% will spill. I own different types of cold brew makers but I wanted one a little more sleek and you will deff find that with this one! It’s beautiful well made glass that has the filtered middle part! When I make my cold brew I brew for at least 24 hours and after that 24 I removed the middle and discarded the coffee grinds. I think if you pack the filter too much with coffee the water won’t properly mix well with it so I noticed some of my coffee was semi dry even after 24 hours of soaking so I only suggest don’t pack it so tightly and it’ll make your cold brew very strong but I just add a little water to mine in the morning so even tho the bottle holds only 30 some oz I feel it will last me at least 3 days when I dilute it some which is nice. No more Starbucks runs on the morning!

Aesthetically appealing to the eye
Aesthetically, it's pleasing to the eye so I really like that. But boy, is it a challenge to pour coffee into that filter! You'll need a funnel to get the coffee grind in. It can be an awkward battle to put the filter on and take it off. I do like the bottom part it sits on, just be sure to screw it on to secure it. It's also a bit tall, so when I put in on the refrigerator door shelf, I have to remove the bottom as it's slightly taller with the bottom on. I think for this to be 5 stars, the plastic parts used on the lid needs to be thicker/hardier as I can see that breaking off in the near future and it wouldn't hurt to use a stainless steel filter (not sure if that will affect brewing time, but I think it'd just be nicer overall).

It's really nicely made and the glass means that it's super easy ...
When I first took this out of the box I wasn't expecting it to be so heavy. It's really nicely made and the glass means that it's super easy to rinse out. Easy to put together too. However, filling the filter with coffee was kind of a challenge. I quickly figured out I needed a funnel. I grabbed a small one, and that worked much better. No more coffee spilled everywhere.I didn't realize that the bottom was a decorative removable plastic piece. It came off when I picked it up filled it with water and it was pretty heavy. It isn't necessary to have this on, and even though it looks nice, I threw it into the trash. The inside of the carafe is impossible to clean with your hand. It's tall and skinny. Sofar I have been able to rinse and swish soapy water around. The coffee is a little weaker than what I was making before as I was putting coffee and water in a glass overnight in the fridge and then straining out the grounds by pouring through a filter. I don't find any need to cut it with more water.I haven't had the chance to use it yet, and I didn't see it in the description, but the ice cube thing is a cool idea. It's hollow plastic that you fill with water and then screw into the lid where the filter goes. Cool ideaOverall this iced coffee carafe/maker is satisfactory. It would be really pretty laid out with fancy glasses and sandwiches for a lovely lunch with friends.

Good maker for first time cold brewers
Bought this for our camper so we don't have to start the generator first thing in the morning. It fits perfectly in the door of our campers fridge which is one reason we went with this over others. To get a decent cup of coffee, you HAVE to use coarse ground coffee and let it sit for no less than 12 hours. I would go for 20-24 hours. It also doesn't make much. I thought 32 oz. would be plenty but we might get 3 cups out of it.

A Quart is Small, but makes good Low Acid coffee
Nicely made unit for a very reasonable price. A quart is a little small. The center piece barely holds 2 oz of ground coffee beans. Many tutorials talk about squeezing the beans out when you are done, which is not practical on this style. We have never made cold brew before, it is nice. Make it the night before with a coarse grind and it is ready 13 or 14 hours later. We have a $15 electric hot pot which warms a cup in one minute whenever needed. It seems to do well with less expensive coffee, better tasting than with our Mill and Brew. We will be looking for a larger container to make a bigger batch of cold brew, but we will keep this one as a smaller option for sure! Note: cold brew seems to require more coffee than hot brewing does. The result is not double strength, even though we use as much coffee as 10 cup hot brew.

Easy to use, great coffee!
I was very happy with this purchase of the cold brew coffee maker. I do not drink hot coffee however I like to have an iced coffee each morning. Most of the other cold brew coffee makers I have tried were very bulky and took up too much room in my refrigerator. The slim design of this product is great. It fits perfectly in the fridge without having to move everything around. This coffee maker was very simple to use and was made of good quality materials. The coffee it makes is definitely less acidic than traditional coffee and you get enough in each carafe for several cups. This product also comes with a great added option of freezing the center piece and using it to keep beverages cold. I could definitely see using this in the summer for iced tea or other cold drinks. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who is a cold brew fan or also for anyone looking to switch from hot coffee. Great product!
