Speed QueenADA 7 Cu. Ft. White Electric Dryer With Steam

My wife and I bought only Kenmoore throughout our 47 year marriage. Simple lower cost. Efficient. Now that sears is gone, it's hard to find anything that's not cheap electronic junk. Our 30 year old set of kenmoore finally died and last year we switched to speed queen. Stainless steel tough and durable. Expensive but you get what you pay for. We love these appliances and at our age, probably the last we'll buy.

ordered this dryer in november took over a month for it to be delivered. Once delivered opened the box and realized that I had to buy a power cable for the dryer seperate which I did not see noted in the description of the product. been a month without a dryer and now still have to go through extra steps to be able to use it once it got here.....

My dryer was a lemon! I had six service calls in the first 5 years I had the dryer. Despite the problematic history that I documented with Speed Queen, they offered no help when the warranty expired. I would not expect a warranty extension if the dryer had performed like it should during the warranty period, but I went through the inconvenience of having to deal w/multiple service calls along with dealing with Speed Queen Customer Service, who don't care. I would not recommend buying their products!
