I've been looking for large tiles to play mahjong becaues my MIL had an automatic mahjong table shuffler and she had these huge tiles compared to my small ones. I looked for it everywhere on Amazon (U.S. location), but all were usually small or medium like the ones I had already. I didn't realize I had to look up the "automatic table mahjong tiles" in order to get the super large ones and found these. I love them so much. Feel like a pro now. Photo is the difference between my old ones (The green one on top) and the new ones (in the back).

These mahjong tiles are absolutely beautiful and perfect. The large size is definitely perfect for me as I have large hands. The weight on them is perfect as well, as that is a good sign for good quality tiles. Definitely worth the purchase.

Beautiful set! The size is perfect. Large! HOWEVER, They are NOT 1.8-inch. They are smaller. Closer to 1.5-1.6 inch. I'm not mad about it though. Happy with purchase.

I needed large tiles and these ones (1.8 inch) are the biggest you could get. I needed the largest ones because the group of people playing are big guys with large hands where the smaller tiles are hard to hold. For most people I reccomend the (1.6 inch or the 1.65 inch) tiles for a balance of being larger than the small tiles, while still being lightweight enough for those who want to be able to grip and stack tiles without issues.
