It was excellent and helped with the healing process
I used Silgel following knee replacement surgery on a 7.5" scar. It was excellent and helped with the healing process. I had no issues with inflammation or infection as the gel helps to protect the skin. It is expensive but definitely worth it. I still have half remaining which I will be using following the other knee surgery.

Purchased this for a tendon scar and used religiously for 12 weeks. I would recommend as my scar tissue has softened but can’t garentee it’s this product and not the massaging itself.

How to use Silgel to get the best results Step 1 Start applying Silgel around 10 days after your operation (non-open wound). Step 2 Wash the area around your scar with a mild soap, rinse and dry thoroughly. Step 3 Massage a small amount of Silgel over your scar. Remove any excess with a clean tissue. Step 4 For optimal results, apply 1 or 2 times a day for a minimum of four months.
