Great "Smart" Business Card Solution with a Couple of Minor Quirks
The cards are beautiful, and they work perfectly. Setting them up was easy and quick, and there is a good deal of customization offered on their platform (including the ability to have cards open a URL of your choice). As a small business owner in the IT sector, these NFC-enabled QR code business cards are a godsend.Traditional paper business cards are fine, and while they are needed in some circumstances, designing them is time consuming, print shops often make errors in cutting them up, and you have to carry around a stack when going to events.Yes, I could have gone the full DIY route and made my own NFC cards with some blanks, the software needed for writing to those chips, and QR code stickers, but they would probably look hideous, and the process is as time consuming as dealing with paper cards. Plus, some people are not technically skilled, so I would end up having to manage their cards, which is an obvious nuisance.Going with Eylet saved me a whole lot of trouble, and unlike most of their competitors, they don't paywall features, and they don't serve advertisements on user profiles. All in all, a pleasant experience, at a very reasonable price point. My only critiques are as follows: 1. The "Get Eylet" button on user profiles could be smaller, and moved onto the same line as the contact exchange buttons. 2. The option for customers to use more complex passcodes with at least one or two special characters, is a must.To be fair, this is a relatively new niche, and much like their competitors, Eylet is a very young company, but these two items seem in obvious need of fixing for an otherwise wonderfully useful product.4/5 for now, though I can easily see this becoming a 5/5 in the very near future, and I would recommend this product to anyone looking for an alternative to carrying around dozens of paper cards.P.S. So long as features for individual users are not curtailed in any way, I would see no problem if Eylet charged a sensible one-time fee for the "Teams" component of their platform (or elements thereof) down the line. Seems like a great way to continue offering the service for free, while increasing revenue from wealthier customers with more complex use-cases.

Does what it says, but implies things it can't do.
These cards are physically and electronically quite nice. But it's not an "instant" contact download as it requires the phone open a web site to download the info. Also, the ad copy makes a point that it has 3x the competition's storage, strongly implying that users can add their data TO THE CARD. This is not the case as the cards are password protected from writes, so the extra storage claim is effectively irrelevant in my opinion. If I could add my own data, these would be perfect for me. (I admit, I'm somewhat of an edge case here)And, although there is no subscription needed, you must still depend on the company that runs the web site to be around for it to work. Nothing against Eyelet, but I've seen too many companies close up ship leaving the customers hanging to depend on a third party web site for my professional contact page.I will keep these as my wife and Aunt could use them, but I can't. Good job, Eyelet, just clean up the marketing copy a bit, okay?

already registered with another user.
received this product, the package was resealed showing that it was a return that was sold again. however, the cards are already registered to another user and so are of absolutely no use to me as i can not register them.

Easy to use and saves the environment
I've used the app several times to send my info to potential clients. I haven't used the card just yet but love it.
