I am always wondering how loud my living environment is. I had done some research about that the decibel levels above 90 dB are harmful. In terms of avoiding hearing loss, I bought this sound decibel meter to detect where is too loud in my house.This noise decibel meter works well to measure decibels. I measure the sound from the power drill, leaf blower, circular saw, air conditioner, electric fan and so on. Fortunately, these tools and home appliances are not too loud at a distance. However, when I get closer to use them, I need to wear earmuffs for ear protection.The legible LCD is a great add-on. Compared to other SPL meters you can find, this LONVOX decibel meter has the largest LCD display for clear readouts. The operation is intuitive, and everything is straightforward. There is no need to figure out how to use the dBA meter. The maximum/minimum decibel level measurement mode is useful. I can measure where the highest/lowest sound level is located in my house. The backlit function is helpful when I was doing noise measurement in my basement. The readouts are still clear and readable in a dim environment.If you are looking for an easy-to-use and high-accuracy sound level meter. This LONVOX decibel meter is a good choice.

So far, both of the ones I bought work great. For the price, they're a bargain. The only reason for 4 stars is that the foam muff slides off too easily (that's what she said) and will get lost. I used a nylon tie wrap to clamp it in place.

I had been reading through decibel meter descriptions for days, searching google, and trying trying tryingTrying to find one (that wasn’t a wall clock) which didn’t have an automatic shut off, or at least had auto off which could be disabled.AND THIS ONE IS IT!Combined with a “AAA battery eliminator” I can finally have a decibel reader running 24/7 so when my upstairs neighbors stomp around and wake me up between 1-5am, it’ll be recorded!I had lost hours and hours of time trying to keep other meters on that would shut off after 10 minutes, only for the neighbors to make noise every 12-15 minutes. It was making me crazy 😭I have a cheap dash cam pointed at this meter with the backlight on and it works perfectly (was using my phone plugged in at first but the dash cam is much easier and uses less power)It’s easy to see the Db number, the “slow/fast”, and the backlight is bright enough to be picked up by the camera but not keep me awake.Massive thank you to the manufacturer 🙏🙏🙏 I’m going to let anyone who has a similar problem know this is what got the evidence I needed

The devices worked, but the display was not fully functional. Part of the numbers did not display. One has to guess what the results are. OK for emergency use, not for court or evidence. Very unfortunate.

Works very well and has accurate sound readings. Arrived very quickly.

There are some features missing from this meter.- it does not have a dBC reading.- it does not have any kind of ranging, the analog display only does 30 - 130.- the fast / slow reading speed does nothing, it always reads fast.It does have an alarm, where you can set a value, and the display goes red with "HI" if the number is exceeded.There are plenty other meters in this price range that have more features.

Ich habe zwei Jahre Lärmbelästigung hinter mir.Für eine Protokollierung kann ich solch ein vergleichsweise günstiges Gerät nur empfehlen.Im Gegensatz zu Smartphone-Apps ist solch ein Dezibel-Messgerät bereits vorkonfiguriert bzw. geeicht.Hier spart man sich viel Zeit.Eine Smartphone-Dezibel-App erst einmal so einzustellen, dass die Daten verwertbar sind, ist komplizierter, als manche denken.Besonders, wenn eine Messung rechtlich relevant wird.Wobei dies nochmal ein völlig anderer Vorgang ist.Dennoch. Um Gewissheit zu erlangen, dass beispielsweise der Nachbar sich über seine Grenzen hinaus danebenbenimmt, ist so ein Gerät optimal.Andere Anwendungsbeispiele sind natürlich ebenfalls möglich.Die Bedienung ist sehr einfach.Und vor allem schnell.Teilweise schneller als das Starten des Smartphones und das Starten der entsprechenden App.Manchmal möchte man ja ganz schnell etwas messen.Das Gerät ist so eingestellt, dass beim Messen keine Missverständnisse aufkommen.Bei manchen Apps kann man mehrere Einstellungen vornehmen für unterschiedliche Messungen unterschiedlicher Geräuschquellen. Auch nochmal eine Wissenschaft für sich, mit welcher ich mich nicht erneut auseinandersetzen möchte.Hier ist jedoch klar definiert, was das Gerät messen soll.Auswechselbare Batterien.Also fast immer einsetzbar, sofern Batterien vorhanden sind.Mein Tipp an andere Geschädigte: Umziehen kann die bessere Wahl sein.Die seelische Gesundheit ist nicht zu vernachlässigen.Das Gerät ist erschwinglich, einfach zu bedienen, voreingestellt, auf ein Stativ montierbar, gut ablesbar…Ich vergebe gerne fünf Sterne.

Das Schallpegelmessgerät kam gut verpackt mit allem wichtigen Zubehör für die erste Inbetriebnahme an. Mit dabei ist eine Art Seidentasche, in der man das Schallpegelmessgerät zur Lagerung oder für den Transport verstauen kann, sowie die benötigten drei AAA-Batterien und ein Mini-Schraubendreher, um das Batteriefach aufzuschrauben (Vorsicht: die Schraube hat keine Verlustsicherung).Nach dem Einlegen der Batterien kann man direkt mit dem Messen beginnen, ohne große Einstellungen vornehmen zu müssen. Es gibt eine Hintergrundbeleuchtung, die nach jedem Einschalten des Geräts erneut aktiviert werden muss. Außerdem gibt es eine "FAST"- und eine "SLOW"-Messmethode, mit der man die Intensität der Messungen etwas reduzieren kann. Nach dem Einschalten ist immer "FAST" automatisch aktiv.Die angezeigten Werte erscheinen plausibel und nicht zu stark verfälscht. Natürlich wird man mit diesem Gerät keine 1:1-Genauigkeit erzielen, dafür ist es nicht ausgelegt und entsprechend auch preisgünstig.Alles in allem kann man dieses Schallpegelmessgerät wärmstens weiterempfehlen, ohne ein schlechtes Gewissen haben zu müssen.

Si tratta quindi di uno strumento concepito e realizzato per misurare l'intensità del suono, suono che può essere di origine naturale (mare, bosco, ecc.) oppure artificiale, prodotto dalle attività dell'uomo e dalle sue macchine.Lo strumento arriva nella sua confezione di cartone insieme ad un comodo sacchetto con chiusura a coulisse come custodia, un cacciavitino per aprire il vano pile, tre pile del tipo AAA ed un manuale d'uso in più lingue, Italiano compreso.Più precisamente abbiamo a che fare con il modello LSM100 caratterizzato da un campo di misura che va dai 30 ai 130dB, limite quest'ultimo che possono raggiungere gli aerei al decollo!Lo strumento viene alimentato da 3 batterie del tipo AAA che sono in dotazione.Ma passiamo alla sua descrizione.Fondamentalmente possiamo dire che è composto da un microfono, molto sensibile e protetto da una cuffietta in spugna, e da un corpo munito di display e pulsanti di comando.I pulsanti presenti si distinguono in:- Power (accensione, spegnimento)- blocco lettura e retroilluminazione- valore max/min di lettura- rilevamento veloce/lentoPer accendere/spegnere lo strumento è sufficiente una pressione veloce. L'operazione si accompagna all'accensione/spegnimento del display.Basta premere brevemente il pulsante "Hold/lampadina" per bloccare la lettura in corso mentre ripremendo altrettanto brevemente si ritorna allo stato normale di rilevamento sonoro. Premendolo invece a lungo (2-3 sec) il display diventa retroilluminato, cosa utilissima in caso di scarsa illuminazione.Possiamo impostare il tempo trascorso tra una lettura e l'altra passando da 0,125sec a 1sec e in questo caso sul display appare il simbolo che ci informa di questo (Fast/Slow).E arriviamo al pulsante che permette la misurazione dei livelli sonori massimo e minimo, premendolo leggermente di volta in volta il che farà apparire sul display l'iconetta "Max" o "Min".Bisogna dire che lo strumento arriva già calibrato dalla fabbrica e pronto all'uso. Inoltre sula sua parte posteriore troviamo la predisposizione per attaccarlo ad un treppiede, il che può rendere l'operazione ancora più comoda.Ok, ma ...a che serve uno strumento simile e soprattutto perché lo dovrei acquistare?Come già menzionato lo strumento serve a misurare l'intensità di rumore circostante (ambiente) oppure quello prodotto da un determinato apparecchio.Nel primo caso ritorna particolarmente utile per misurare il livello di rumore prodotto per esempio nell'ambito di una realtà urbana, valore che può compromettere la salute degli abitanti! Nel secondo caso invece ci viene data la possibilità di conoscere con precisione il rumore prodotto da un apparecchio che stiamo per acquistare (frigorifero, asciugacapelli, deumidificatore, lavatrice, ecc...,) e con il quale ci dovremo convivere in casa. E' chiaro che la nostra preferenza andrà a cadere sull'apparecchio meno rumoroso possibile, giusto?Punti a favore:- preciso- facile da usare- display retroilluminato- varie regolazioni- batterie di facile reperibilità- manuale d'uso anche in IT- custodia floscia- predisposizione per treppiedePunti contro:Non è possibile condividere i rilevamenti via cavo o bluetoothConsiderazioni finali:A parte gli usati già citati sopra e che possono sempre tornare utili a chiunque di noi, personalmente ho fatto richiesta di questo strumento per due motivi:- tutelarmi in ambito condominiale- misurare la rumorosità di un apparecchio in fase di recensione.Mi sono trovato bene con il fonometro della LONVOX che ho trovato facile da usare e preciso nei suoi rilevamenti (confrontandolo con uno di livello professionale la differenza nei rilevamenti è trascurabile).Ho potuto misurare il rumore ambientale del posto dove vivo e quello della strada principale che dista un centinaio di metri da casa, ma anche il rumore di alcuni elettrodomestici presenti in casa. Per misurare la rumorosità di un elettrodomestico bisogna procedere come segue. In primis fare un rilevamento mentre l'apparecchio in questione sta spento per poter conoscere il livello di rumorosità che non dipende da quest'apparecchio. Poi accendiamo l'apparecchio e facciamo un secondo rilevamento. La differenza tra questi due rilevamenti sarà quella propria dell'apparecchio!A prima vista non si direbbe ma conoscendo lo strumento si capisce che è di gran bella utilità sia in ambito urbano che altrove.Promosso!
