Pump is a power house and reliable. Finally pulled it apart for maintenance
The media could not be loaded. I built this water garden/ gold fish pond in 2002. I have tried every brand from Laguna to Oasis and many more, Up until now Oasis was my go to brand but that has changed. Since this is a water garden it receives lots of vegetation trash in the pond. The surface area of the impeller cover is very large and will last for days before I even see a flow decrease. Easy to remove and clean good for another solid week at top performance. No other pump I have used performed like this. The price of under 50 bucks to the house I’ll change it out every year for that price but I have faith and easy three year pump with my pass experiences with other brands. For me this is the pump I have been hoping to find.I bought another one as a back up 4-29-24 the thing is a tank. I ran it dry twice and still performing well it looks like you can pull apart to get to the impeller to clean it. They will start to slow down with little fiber wrapping around impeller. I’m almost at a year and still functional. I think it has slowed down a little bit but not bad. I would like to see the back cap and front cap not as flimsy with a stiffer plastic. The impeller house was turned counterclockwise and came off very easy. The cap was removed and a very small metal shaft the the magnetic impeller spins on came out the had a neoprene nipple on the shaft. I was hoping to find fibrous vegetation around the impeller because I have noticed a slight slow down. The shaft had some burrs on it and I sanded it smooth. Other than that removed brown alagea residue and I Had waterproof silicone grease coated the metal rod and notice wear on the retaining cap that I removed so I coated that also. Reassembled the pump very easy no real tools required. I should of put the pump in a bucket to get any oil residue that spins off the shaft it wasn’t a lot but I will alway pre run before placing back in pond from now on. Did a water change just to be safe. My slow down was Debris build up inside the tubing. Pump was quit. I can see the shaft metal rod wearing out and it should of been made stainless steel. When this pump fails it will be due the severe wear on the shaft or the impeller fins break off the impeller.

Good pump; had to take out filter pad
So, I have a very heavily populated pond with a lot of guck and yes I have a filter, etc. This pump is great, very strong, steady flow, but the filter pad had to be removed every day and cleaned or it would clog up and the water would not flow through. I find it tricky to get the housing open to do that and it was frustrating. I finally took it out and it's been great ever since. I know it's there to protect the pump motor but it required too much upkeep for my purposes with the filter kept in.

Works great
Purchased in April and wanted to wait a bit to post a review. Has been running 24/7 from April through August without issue. Solid pump running a good size fountain on our patio. Replaced the original that failed. Moves plenty of water, appears reliable and the filter is easy to clean. Would buy again and pleased for the price.

Electric cord could be a little longer.
Good water pressure, electric cord is a little short, quality looks good.

Great customer service.
Pump broke after 20 minutes. A part inside cracked.I emailed customer service with picture of piece, asked if they can replace the piece. They said they sent replacement. I asked for a tracking number because I was skeptical at the ease of the process.I received a whole new pump before receiving the tracking number. That's the way customer service should be.This is my second pump from Knifel. They work great.

Tried use warranty but said I have to contact sell but not sure how to
Tried use warranty but said I have to contact sell because the warranty from the seller might still be active but not sure how to. But I've been using the pump for 2 months cleaning/replacing the filter but it wasn't working properly so I took off the back to clean the filter and the black propeller was broke off

Great Pump, But Too Powerful and Not Adjustable
I recently bought the Knifel Submersible Pump 880GPH, and while it’s a solid, well-made pump, it ended up being too powerful for my small fountain. It moves a ton of water quickly, which is great for larger ponds or water features, but for my setup, the flow was way too strong. The downside is that the pump isn’t adjustable, so there’s no way to lower the flow to match my needs. I tried to use it, but the water ended up splashing everywhere, making a mess and losing the calming effect I wanted from the fountain. If you have a larger pond or water feature that needs a lot of flow, this pump would likely be perfect. But if you’re looking for something for a smaller fountain, be aware that the power might be too much, and there's no way to adjust it.

it's a pond pump
it comes with three nozzles, I used the 3/4" and the pump barely moves water to my top pond which is about a Meter (39") up from the bottom pond. Not nearly as powerful as I imagined, the description also doesn't tell you the pump speed cannot be adjusted, like many others. I am going to use the other smaller nozzles to see if that is why it won't lift up to my top pond, as it should. I will update in a day or two to let anyone interested - know.I am going to purchase a more powerful pump that you can adjust, so I can get my waterfall running again after my old pump stopped working. Decent pump but definitely not one to use to lift water

Does NOT have auto shut-off
I haven't installed the Knifel Submersible Pump 880GPH yet, but this kind of misleading listing makes me nuts. I bought it specifically because it says "we have added a temperature control protection switch inside the pump" in "About this item". I've already run through 3 cheaper pumps that all burned out because the water level in my pond fell below the pump (I'm blaming the racoons... longer story).Anyway, I receive the pump and in the instructions I read: "Don't have the automatic shut-off. But it has 360 hours anti-dry burning, won't burn out." That's not the same thing! Presumably, after 15 days, the pump will burn out. If I go away for two weeks and the racoons do their thing, I'm likely out another pump. I wanted an auto shut-off switch. Argh!
