This book follows Elsie Travilla's children, Elsie, Edward and Violet, grown up and getting married. Elsie manages to continue guiding them without her husband, but with the assistance of her father and mother. They all fall in love and soon Elsie Travilla becomes a grandmother.

I liked the book very much of course it was not as good as some of her first books but all in all very good

I have really been enjoying this series. Very glad that I stumbled up on it in Kindle world. Must realize the time that it was written in, but still full of many truths that apply today.

I love the original Elsie books and Hendrickson Publishers did a great job of taking the Hibbard publicationand enlarging the books making them easier to read. They also did a great job on the covers. They shipped quickly too.

I love the ENTIRE series by Ms.Finley . She is an excellent writer. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book for any girl & her mother to read!

love this series of books. very similiar to Louisa May Alcott's work. highly recommend for both kids and adults, we loved it

I loved the beginning Elsie books, and this one is still OK but they quickly get very tedious and even creepy.
