Great Product, Great Customer Service
First, I just want to say that this product is of great quality. It is soft and does not shed like other types of foam. I purchased this as a test sample for soundproofing an entire room. I mounted only this single 4x6 sq. feet piece of foam and instantly I could feel the sound in the room dampen. It shielded the room from outside noise getting in as well as inside noise penetrating outward. I know that when I am able to surface more areas of the room with this foam, it will certainly achieve the result I am looking for. I am using this for sound/music recording purposes.Secondly, I want to say that the customer service I received from the NOBLEPRODUCTLINE company is exceptional. I neither lodged a grievance nor contacted them. But here is what happened...I received my product. When I went to mount it onto my wall, it was 2 inches shorter than what the description indicated. Two inches may not seem like a big deal, but it was exactly what I needed to cover the area I had planned. Although it came short of covering the area, I did not complain or contact them (since I was very pleased with the quality.)So when I went to leave feedback on Amazon.com, I just mentioned the discrepancy with my item. I was quickly contacted by their customer service department and was given an apology and offered a solution. I have to say, there is nothing better than to receive proactive customer service. As far as customer service goes, you won't have to worry with this company. And as far as product quality goes, this is really good foam. I will be purchasing more in the future to complete soundproofing my studio.

Good for the price.
This has about half the acoustic sound absorption compared to the very expensive 2" wedge products, but it was less than 1/4 the price; so for the same money, I get twice as much absorption (covering a larger portion of the wall). Note that 2" foam (from any maker) works best on higher frequencies, if you also want to absorb bass sounds, you'll need much thicker foam (or several layers of this). It does have small bubble voids, which I didn't find noticeable when mounted (they probably help with absorption anyway). This is easy to cut. It came shipped in a small package (compressed and folded), which bounced back to normal large size (with no wrinkles) when opened up. I let it air out in my garage a few days (had new foam smell when first opened).I would be happy to buy more of this again if I needed it.

Nearly Perfect
I'm giving five stars, because the value and quality are worth every penny. Now... this is "B" stock, however all of my pieces were nearly perfect, with just a few small tears in the foam on a few edges (I bought three of them), which easily came together without notice once I attached the foam to my studio walls. It was easy to cut the sizes and shapes I needed with a regular pair of scissors, although a straight-edge w/blade would likely work better, IMO. As for special "adhesives" sold to apply this foam..? Forget it. Buy some Liquid Nails for about $2.50 a tube. I did and it worked great.

Great Product
Very good product for a B rated foam. As others have stated the size was a little off about 2 inches on mine so no big deal. As soon as I put it up I could tell a big difference. One complaint that I have is the "Package" it came in. It looked like a flattened cardboard box wrapped around it with a full roll of packaging tape holding it together. Took forever with a knife to get it out without cutting the foam. All in all I like the product and would buy it again when I need more sound proofing.

Waste of money for me...
First, it took way too long to receive item; esp. when shipping not free! It is exactly how it looks; however, after further research on "sound blocking/reduction" I find out this stuff is absolutely worthless in that category. And after I got it "mounted" I was stunned that NO sound was blocked or reduced! It comes with NO product information, no mounting materials or recommendations. It's going to storage. Hopefully, there'll be a use for it someday.

good product for the price
I was looking for some foam in order to get my music room sounding more like a studio and less like a cathedral. I built a three piece folding screen and covered it with this stuff on one side and it worked out perfectly. The room isnt a studio yet but the nasty sound due to unwanted und uncontrolled wall reflections is gone. Note that this material only dampens the higher frequency part of the audible spectrum it wont keep deep bass sounds from going anywhere unless its used in conjunction with higher density materials.

Noise Reduction for Child's Door
I received this product promptly and went to work adhering it to the back of my child's door. It has really made a big difference in the amount of ambient noise from the rest of the apartment. The dimensions are approximate and maybe a 1 inch to a half inch off. The amount provided was more than enough to do a standard door so I used the rest to sound dampen the dish washer.

Best value around
Other places charge much more per foot for the same product. Be sure to open when they arrive so they don't get deformed. Use 3M spray adhesive to mount on walls. For ceilings, use the spray to attach them to a substrate and screw the substrate to the ceiling. I used that cardboard type material with shiny stuff on one side that they sell in 4x8 at Home Depot and everything came out great.
