Really cool upgrade for your car. I was expecting the quality to not be as good due to the price. I was pleasantly surprised. Workmanship and fitment were spot on. Comes with everything you need to get it working plus online instructions for installation. Has worked well for a few months now. Fairly easy to navigate however it does take some learning going in between the standard BMW system and the Android system. I would recommend this product due to craftsmanship quality and price.I'll take some pictures and add them at a later date.

Came very fast. The screen is very HD. Very good quality. Install process a bit a pain but you can do it yourself. 10//10 definitely recommend getting this.

Ran into install issue with the wire harness not fully connecting to the CD player so idrive and sound didn’t work but the Xtron head unit does power up and appears working. The harness connecter needs to be wiggled in because the side connectors were not fully flush. Make sure the connector sits all the way down on the CD player. Once that was resolved the idrive and sound started to work after connecting the RCA out to the cars AUX in. CarPlay and screen works awesome!! I only bought it for CarPlay. The android side appears to work great as well. I only tried YouTube app on it and it does play movies on the screen and again looks and sounds great!! This is my second unit install, xtron worked great on x1 and also on my F36!!

UPDATE#2: Xtrons has been very helpful and perhaps it was just a fluke that the connector in my purchase was bad. I'm getting a new unit that will hopefully solve the problem.UPDATE: My review is not showing up, but I'll update any way. I contacted Xtrons and they responded quickly, but the only response was a better picture of the wiring. That doesn't help as I feel the connector in their harness is no good. FWIW I have an Electrical Engineering degree and have worked with similar connectors for nearly 30 years. I will probably just box this back up and return it as this may be a good product, but I can't tell with poor QC and worse Customer Service.So far I'm not impressed. A lot of great reviews of this unit so perhaps when my issue is resolved I can update this review in a positive light.Following various YT videos I took my dash apart, but ran into a snag when I unplugged the fiber optic cable. It will not click into the Xtrons connector harness. It does fit perfectly, but will not lock into place so it will just pull right out. I can still click it back into the BMW plug so I don't believe I damaged anything.Hopefully Xtrons can send new wiring harness, but I just wasted a lot of time and now have to put the dash back together until I can try a new wiring harness.Not happy and so far I can't recommend this unit.

The media could not be loaded. Best upgrade ever, Great sound, easy to install.

Would say its perfect except one thing. When you toggle your steering wheel buttons up and down the songs play in opposite order. So instead of skipping to the next song by pushing up, you have to push down. And to go back you have to push up. And this is a permanent issue. Very very annoying to be always stuck like that.

Amazing size and quality

First time installing a screen in a bmw. It is quite easy following YouTube instructions. The unit itself looks an amazing. CarPlay works well with and iPhone 14. I have run into a couple issues though. I put in a data sim from Verizon and it recognized the sim but did not have any service. USB tethering is greyed out and I cannot find a fix how to utilize it. Reached out to the seller and waiting for a reply.
