Living is the US, there are very few printed guides to Serbia. The guides such as Rick Steves, Fodors, Lonely Planet, etc. do not produce a printed guide for this country. If they did, I would still purchase this book first. I found this book through a Serbian travel blog and could not be happier. The author is a Serbian college professor who writes from the view point of a local and the book reflects it.I highly recommend the book for those traveling to Serbia, you won't be disappointed.

I am very happy to have a travel guide for the country of Serbia. It is organized into regions, each having beautiful photos, history, information regarding the culture, travel means and distances, and listings of lodging and restaurants. We look forward to a trip there to learn about family roots and see it all for ourselves.
