A change of heart toward amish fiction.
Let’s just state it up front - I am not normally a Amish fiction fan - I tend to read historical, suspense and contemporary literature as the Amish way of life isn’t really a area I know much about. But something about this book drew me in - I guess also it was about two sisters who had left the Amish way of life but still held true to the faith that way of life had instilled.Mecca Yost, after being jilted and left at the altar by her fiancé by arranged marriage, fees to her sister in Ohio. She doesn’t really know what she wants to do with her life now but a change of scene is warranted. Trained as a midwife she finds work as a nurse at the local doctors office and a romance soon blossoms.Sadly for Becca, her intended’s mother has other ideas and sets about a campaign to ensure they can never be together. This is one of the things that kept the story interesting - how was Becca ever going to gain a foothold in this family.I loved the surprising way this was eventually achieved - it was quite the dramatic turn of events when wasn’t expected from the beginnings of the story. A stellar debut novel with a lot of heart and soul. Highly recommended for lovers of any kind of fiction.

Change of Heart
Cherese Akhavein's review Aug 26, 2018 · editit was amazingA keepsake Pocket Quilt Novel by Molly Jebber book 1 in the SeriesChange of HeartWow Wow Wow, I could not put this book down and when I was forced to as life popped up I used that time to digest all I just read, Molly Jebber took you back with her chacters where time was harder and at the same time simpler. One of Molly’s main characters Becca who will make a life changing decision and through out her life anything that is thrown her way she never waivers in her faith and conviction, just as her Amish faith has taught her. This book and the whole story is so very refreshing, powerful and true to the Beauty that is the Amish people in their faith. I was happy, sad and happy again right down to the last page where I cried. Wow Molly thank you for this wonderful book. I just started book 2 and I am so excited about that one as well. Please read Molly’s book you won’t be sorry!

Another good book
I love how the characters are blended together and shows them as humans and not perfect people. They have problems like everyone else.

Loved it!
This is the first book I have read by this author, and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled into the lives of the characters and the story line from the first pages and didn't want to put it down. It is a little different from the other Amish books that I have read, but I thoroughly enjoyed the way the author captured the life and stor Becca, an Amish midwife, as she deals with whether or not to leave the Amish community and start a new life with her sister after she was jilted at the altar. I very much look forward to reading this author's next book.

Captivating, Inspirational Read!
I have been pleasantly surprised at the wonderful depth of this author’s novels! She addresses hard but common issues, while still making the novels captivating and enjoyable reads. And I always enjoy the historical aspect in them. This has the topics of law, prejudice, manipulative people, self-worth, judging, birthmarks, forgiveness, love, and second chances, to name only a few. I agree with this line: “ignorant was judging someone without getting to know them first.” So true! A very inspirational read that I highly recommend!!!

Sweet Amish Story
Change of Heart by Molly Jebber is a sweet Amish romance novel. It is set in 1899.I was expecting a little more excitement in this story due to the fact that the two sisters left the Amish lifestyle. It had an interesting plot, however, there seemed to be a lot of redundancy in the writing and it was a bit too simplistic for my taste. With the number of events that took place, I think that this Novel would have been served better as a Novella. Due to the story line, I think this author has lots of potential. I will take a second look in the near future.

Change of Heart
This is a thrilling book with all the things that are happening. Becca is jilted at the altar. It is difficult to be around the people who were there for the wedding and saw what happened to her so she moved to another town to live with her sister. Will she find happiness in her new life there?

Great Story
The story is a really good one! I am not much for romance novels, but I did like this one. It's got to be a "can't put down" novel about chapter 16. The only thing about it is the writing - it seems stilted and unrealistic.
