USoB (2 Pack) White Matte On/Off In Line Cord Switch AC 250V 2.5A

I searched and searched and this was exactly what I was looking for. I was pleased that two pieces were included. I tried the first one and found that the plastic piece that covers the nut could not be removed so I could not see that if I loosened it too far, it would fall off. I did loosen it too far and it did fall off, rendering the piece no longer usable. Once I figured that out, I was able to use the second piece with no problem. It works great, just the way I wanted it to. I'm unwilling to remove the piece I'm using, so I can't send the whole order back... I would love it if the vendor sent me a second one I could use.

Product works, but good there were two switches. First switch dropped an internal screw when attempting to tighten wire. No way to open and screw interfered with switch so I trashed it. Used second one and it works. Not a high end product but it works and local Home Depot and Lowe’s don’t carry.

I was making a lamp for an architecture class so I bought these to give my lamp a switch. They are PERFECT. Good quality, they don’t feel cheap at all. When you open them to wire the cords, it has four slots for the wires, two for the neutral, and two for the active. Meaning, it gives way to having a cord cut completely. Most switches only have slots for the live wire and the neutral wire is expected to be uncut. Due to my circumstances I had already cut both wires to make my lamp, so this switch was a perfect way to give myself a longer lamp cord.

I like the ease of installing. The switch failed to work one time but has worked ok since. That makes me wonder how long it will last.

I’ve attached many online switches before with no issues and this one was a pain in the neck! I’d never seen an online switch like this—didn’t come with any instructions (had to search YouTube for a tutorial) and I nearly destroyed one switch in the process—I had to pop off the rocker part to get the tiny screw that fell into the inner chamber. Not very well designed.

Don't buy poorly made. Only thing I can say about these switches were the easy use. But the back cover pulled right off after barely tightening the cover. If the cover comes off then both 110 volt lines become visible and could do some possible damage. So I don't feel like doing a return and wasting time. Will put in bin for side project. Will find safer switches.

I was successful installing two of these following the tips in other reviews. First do not overtighten the Phillips had screws that hold the assembly together or they will crack the casing. Second, do not back out the screws that hold the wires (slot screws) too far or it's a pain to get the nut back on. Third tighten the slot screws tight to hold the wires. That's it!

loosened screws to insert wire, screw fell out, could not find captive 'nut' on desk of floor with magnet, Disassembled second unit hoping to capture nut to add to product with "lost" 'nut'. cannot get a nut.Worst piece of crap I have worked with/ON in fifty years. Engineering of product is the worst crap design I have ever used!!!Know why package as two, need to screw up with one, to may succeed with second!
