Very fragile. The first one I had worked pretty well but the tip began to bend and it’s so bent now that it doesn’t work anymore.Bought a replacement and it broke after the second punch of 22g sterling silver. It broke just like the other review photos, one side of it broke off.It claims to have a guard to not leave indentation marks, but it absolutely does. I solved this by putting paper between the metal and the pliers.Works ok when I don’t have my flex shaft available, but I would never choose to use this over a drill on a flex shaft.

Beware does NOT punch the metal gauge it specifies. Used it to punch a metal sign less than recommended gauge and it broke. Very disappointed with quality of metal used to make this pliers. I feel fortunate it did not snap off and cause an injury.

I love this tool. It makes perfect holes in metal. I use it in my jewelry making. Thankyou.

This is the first time I have ever used a hole puncher and I love this one! So easy to hold and use! Im so pleased with this purchase

I am an jewelry artisan and often finish stringing with 2x3mm crimps. I've gone through two of the less expensive crimping tools - they literally snapped at the crimping end because the metal is so cheap (guess where they're made?), so I decided to go with a more comfortable handle after the last plier head flew across the room. Compared to the former incarnation, these are a definite improvement. The handle is certainly more comfortable, and it seems that you can put more pressure on them, they have a nicer action, and they crimp more than one size crimp tube. However, the metal looks pretty much the same to me, so I'm skeptical that they'll last any longer than the others. Moreover, though they are more comfortable to use, I really don't know that you can consider them ergonomic. All my other pliers are Lindstrom ergonomic and these don't even come close to the kind of fit and comfort of my Lindstroms...kind of like comparing Bosch with Black&Decker... But, so far this is the only ergonomic option out there. We'll see how they hold up! (Btw - they are manufactured in Taiwan, for those who like to know the country of origin).

I like this thing although at first it wasn't so easy I mean it was easy but I had to keep testing it to get it lose I believe because the wood was to thick it wasn't that thick but after loosening this whole puncher up which took me less then 2 hours but more so a while 1 day it worked like punching through paper moral of the story just cause the wood I used was thick I loosen the whole puncher up by constantly testing it out in the wood even so sometimes it acks up but it works really good and punches that whole through slightly thick wood

I find it poor quality I’m so sad bec I need it so badly now I have to buy again :(I tested it once and gone :( what a waste of money

Not amazing, but does the job. I put a piece of card around the punch to stop it from marking the blanks when you press down hard to get through the metal. Does what you need it to, but not a great finish.

Wanted one of these for ages and it has not disappointed
