I own 5 of these belts over the course of 4 years ... Why 5 you might ask ... Because I wear one M-F to the gym to workout in ... So I'm constantly rotating them ... To keep the belt from actually being in contact with my skin ... I wear a very thin T-Shirt with yet another T-Shirt on top ... Well ... After working out for nearly 2 hours/day ... The belt gets somewhat wet from sweating/perspiration ... After a couple of weeks ... The worn belts get washed on gentle cycle inside a mesh laundry bag and then placed outside to dry ... So here's the down side of these belts ... It's best to take the metal stays out prior to washing ... Needle nose pliers work great ... But here are my three (3) issues ... Many of the stays turn rusty ... Many of the ends that are encased by another separate piece of metal (not sure what they are called) break off inside the belt itself so when you attempt to replace the stay(s) after washing/drying ... They will not go all the way back down to the bottom because that piece that breaks off will not allow the balance of the stay to sit totally in place and therefore will stick out of the top of the belt ... Additionally ... There is no way to get down inside the stays holder to pull out that piece to reconnect it ... Otherwise ... This is the belt for me ... And I've tried many others where their material (s) are just too weak ... This belt do to the metal stays and thicker/wider design then most materials of other manufacturers holds up at all times ... Not a one of them have ever collapsed ... So ... This is just my opinion ... Others may feel differently and that's fine too ... All-in-all ... This is a belt for anyone to at least try it out ...

Waste size is as described and after a few months of usage it is holding very well. The extra straps are a plus when it comes to adjusting for tightness or loosening up the belt. I took a star off due to it being wider than expected. I am 5'9" and the belt rides from my lower waist to almost mid-back.

I have been suffering from sciatica for many years, yet I want to be active and reach my fitness goals. However, when I was trying to perform physical activities that require core strength, I may hurt myself time to time. This belt helped me to fix that problem. I wore it during my physical exercise and it prevent me from injuring myself. It also provided gesture correcting and support to ease my lower back pain when I am sitting in front of the computer. It also makes your waist look thinner when you are wearing it. Great buy.

I was on an 8 week project that required lifting large panels all day long... it was quickly apparent that I would need support through the day to prevent me from doing something stupid like lifting then reaching. So I got this simple to use, easy to put on support that provides light support and helps to remind me when Im moving in a spine compromising way. Projects over and my back is intact, which I think is due in part to using this product.

Not too bad, size chart is right, I read the reviews and order the larger size and it was too big. I had to return abc buy again and they do no give you free returns

I 'blew out my lumbar spine in 1997 and have been living in pain since. Surgery in 1999 did nothing good foe me. I was told that my body buillds 'scar tissue 'very fast' and surgery is not an option. I was told to 'learn to live with it'. I have 'good days' and bad days' and try not to show my pain to anyone. When my left leg 'refuses to allow me to stand up, everyone knows 'it's bad'. Ive tried everything to lessen the pain. This 'back brace' helps me to stand and walk much better than anything else I've tried. I'm not 'pain free' but a 5 is my new 'normal'. As long as I keep busy mentally, I keep from betting too depressed. The 'right brace' has helped me better than all the 'dope' I was taking.

Their size chart is NOT comparable to American standard size chart. They used their own size chart, which is 2-3 smaller than American standard size chart. So, you have to keep in mind that you have to order a few size up from their size chart.
