I chose this ice bucket to replace a flimsy enameled aluminum one with a plastic liner that a friend had given me years ago. I needed smaller ice bucket that would do a better job keeping ice frozen for drink demos I present. So far this seems to be exactly what I was looking for. Here's what I've found so far:- The bucket itself is smaller and squatter than many other buckets I'd considered. This is a bonus for me when I'm packing a lot of materials to take to events.- It is insulated and doesn't have a plastic liner like my old bucket that just didn't keep ice frozen well. UPDATE: This bucket kept my ice frozen very nicely for a couple of hours easily!- The lid fits tightly. There's a silicon seal on the inside of the lid to help hold it in place (see image). This is very helpful.- I could do without the handles on the side. They don't really offer much and take up room in my storage area and on my bar.- I like that it's stainless steel. Feels solid & looks sleek.

Worked well

I bought this to replace an old ice bucket that had rusted. I liked this one because it is small enough to be portable, looks nice on a table display and is stainless steel. I like that the lid seals tight to keep ice cold when not using. This ice bucket is a little shorter than others I've looked at, but holds plenty of ice. If you are using this to chill wine, it comes up to the perfect height. (See pic) I placed a bottle of champagne inside to show how high it comes up. You can loop a cloth napkin through the handles to prevent condensation or dripping water from taking the bottle out.One note about this: Make sure it's dry before you store it! If you leave water sitting in/on this, it will rust/stain. On the instructions that come with it, it clearly states it as well!

I received this ice bucket with no holes pre-drilled in the lid or the knob, to mount it! Also there was no hardware to mount the knob anyway! GREAT QUALITY control they have!
