The fruit is extremely realistic. You'd have to get up very close to most of it to be able to tell it was fake, and most of the pieces have slight imperfections on them to further the illusion. They do have a bit of a smell, but nothing extreme in my opinion. The pieces are a little delicate so do be careful not to crush them under anything. The re-usable packaging was really nice, and included some suggestions and some really nice little wrappers for the fruit. The colors are bright (as well as realistic) and it looks great on my table in a bowl.If you are looking for fake fruit that looks a lot like the real thing (except maybe up close in some cases) and it will sit in one spot for the most part looking good, then this is recommended.However, if you are looking something for children to play with, or for something that you need to hold or handle often, you might want to look elsewhere as this is clearly meant for grown-up decoration and apparently you can't get any of it wet or you will mess up the paint job.

Im very pleased with this purchase! Fast delivery and nice packaging (each piece of fruit individually wrapped). The banana wasn't too realistic looking but the other fruit was great, especially the orange and apples. The pear was a bit shiny, but still looked very real. I read somewhere that if you dust just a small amount of baby powder on it, the shine disappears. I will try this later and post an update. Overall, Im very satisfied!

Very impressed with how realistic this fruit is, especially the apples and pears. The banana looks particularly fake so I didn't use that. The lime is much too big and the mango much too small so I put these underneath everything else to prop the other fruit up. Everything else not mentioned so far is just the right size and very realistic looking as you can see from my photo.I bought these as a prop for staging my house as it went on the market. I wanted to bring some color to the room but didn't want to keep replacing fresh fruit every couple of days.

I returned these artificial fruit. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but several fruit had plastic bumps that would require those fruit be placed at the bottom, and the only fruit that truly appeared realistic to me were the red apples.

These looked real enough to put in a decorative bowl for my kitchen when I was selling my house.

These were returned to the merchant because they didn't look like real fruit. The only fruit that looked almost real were the apples. The Lime, Banana, and Orange were really bright almost iridescent colors not like you see in the store. The size of the fruit was fine, it was just the coloring that was not even close to correct.
