Here are my quick, scattered impressions of the the KZ EDX Pro X:So far I think the EDX Pro X is an upgrade in terms of treble presentation compared to EDX Ultra both using JVC Spiral Dot Eartips: not grainy, metallic, sufficient air and sparkle, not as bitingFemale and male vocals sound correct imo - I listen to mostly 80s Citypop, recent Indie Rock tracks: clear, full bodied, not sibilant, not nasal sounding.The bass is much more cleaner and controlled compared to the EDX Ultra my CCA CRA+bot with JVC Spiral Dot ear tips. Bass is not bloated and does not bleed much into the rest of the frequencies.Technicalities (to my understanding - soundstage, imaging, sound separation), tonality are better than my KZ EDX Ultra, on par with KZ ZSN Pro 2 both with JVC Spiral Dots. I think would I take the EDX Pro X over ZSN Pro 2 overall because the treble is cleaner, less metallic, more organic. Outside KZ/CCA, I think the treble (and overall sound) is better than my 7Hz Zero OG, Tangzu Wan’er both with stock ear tips and even my recent Simgot EW200 with KB Ear 07 ear tips. I’ve been mainly using these iems on my BTR5 at home and on the go.Value is great at the $23 Canadian plus taxes I paid with taxes.Non-industry standard frequency response graph comparing the KZ EDX Pro X, KZ EDX Ultra and KZ ZSN Pro 2 from my MinDSP EARs measurement rig included for reference.

Product quality is really very nice and great and sound qualities amazing. I want to gift these headphones to my younger brother.

Premetto di essere fonico professionista da circa 40 anni. PRO: Suono gradevolissimo e molto definito sulle frequenze alte, per le frequenze basse occorre trovare il giusto compromesso tra la forma del proprio orecchio e le dimensioni dei tamponi in gomma, in modo da "sigillare" bene. Io ho provveduto al successivo acquisto di tamponi in memory foam che però arriveranno domani. CONTRO: Forse poco efficienti ma le ho provate per ora solo con lo smartphone.
