The media could not be loaded.  Love everything about this saw all its innovative features and what a good deal the kit is. First off the belt driven motor produces 5500 RPMs finally something that's borderline over powered as opposed to the under powered norm👍 and something about a belt drive it just glides through Rips and cross cuts. The fact that the motor is mounted behind and slightly higher then the blade allows you to get 2 9/16 cut capacity just as good as a 7 1/4 on a 6 1/2 blade its just amazingly clever. The true inline center mount blade design is hands down the absolute most comfortable,precise ,and Controllable circular saw lay out that exists and may ever exist. The adjustable dust exhuast port is easily the most innovative tool feature of the year in my opinion it is beyond nice to see a perfectly clean cut line on Rips and works perfectly bonus the thing looks bad ass and has a nice bright led light which is so so useful The battery charge lasts impressively long and I love the large bright easy to read battery charge indicators. I love this company this is the third product I have purchased from them and it exceeded my expectations in every way. Every inch of this saw feels like it was designed by a professional carpenter and if youre a proffesional carpenter or trades person you will absolutely appreciate it. It is the best general purpose circular saw available on the market at this time, period.

It has most power and great features i love flex tools

This is my first experience with this generation of full sized cordless saws, and I'm really impressed. This doesn't skip a beat, even with the blade buried in hardwood. Great for larger beams, or for stacked sheet goods where smaller saws would bog down. Battery life is something you need to keep an eye on, as with all cordless saws. Depending on what you're doing you might need multiple batteries, but if you plan your cuts you'll probably be good with one. This is a fairly heavy tool, but feels quite heavy duty and durable and the balance is good. Overall, if you need this level of tool for the job, this is a nice way to go. For the price, great saw.

Box was not damaged in the slightest and yet battery was sent to me leaking battery acid which got all Over my hands and it would not wash off.

I bought two "Red" saws from Home Depot, their flagship model 7 1/4" right blade 18 volt circular saws. Both saws had a misaligned shoe (foot plate). They would not cut straight using a straight edge guide, so they were useless for precision woodworking.Enter Flex. I bought the right blade 7 1/4" Flex sidewinder saw and the smaller 6 1/2" Flex worm drive saw with the belt drive left side blade. Both Flex saws cut perfectly and have a perfectly aligned foot plate. Both Flex saws are outstanding, their motors are quiet and smooth with no loud gear whine or pitchy motor whine.I think Flex builds the best circular saws on the market. They have a cast aluminum heavy duty foot plate, where as the DeWalt does not.Flex is the best value for circular saws and nothing else comes close, in terms of battery capacity, performance, perfect alignment of the foot plate parallel to the blade, smooth motor, high arbor (blade RPM).If you get a Flex circular saw you'll be one of the lucky people who actually read the reviews and realized that they are probably the best saw on the market. The only thing that might be better would cost at least twice as much and would not be worth buying.

This is my first time using a cordless tool from FLEX, and I'm impressed. Normally, I'm pretty platform-loyal, given what's involved in keeping up with charging various batteries, but my usual brands didn't have anything like this particular saw, so I took the chance. I'm glad I did. Having the motor and weight of the saw in-line rather than offset have made a big difference in terms of control when I'm making freehanded cuts. It's not the lightest tool in the world, but it's well balanced and, unlike several others I've tried from other brands, the bearings are reasonably quiet. My ears appreciate that detail! The battery didn't take long to get to a full charge out of the box, and subsequent top-off recharges have all been pretty speedy compared to charging systems from even a couple years ago. It took me a little bit to get accustomed to the noise from the cooling fan that's built into the charger, it's not something that I'd bring in and put on the kitchen counter at the end of the day to recharge the battery with, but for recharging outside during the day, it's fine. The fan is a useful touch and an important piece of the fast-charging circuitry as, without it, things would overheat and much of that heat would get transferred to the battery itself. I expect this will become more common as more platforms add fast-charging capabilities, so it doesn't bother me. Just something to be aware of.Overall, I'm significantly impressed by this circular saw, and by the attention to details in the design by the team at FLEX. Other cordless power tool brands could learn a thing or two, as FLEX's excellent reputation seems to be well-deserved.

I liked this saw. I had one from big brand with 20V and this Flex, looks like so more powerful. The charger is so fast! The cut is so easy and the blade never got locked inside the cut because the saw don't have power to cut. My unique bad point is the battery : is exclusive for this brand, so, is not possible use the big brands battery (I can't find ,if the seller know some compatibility with another brand battery ,let me know) or I wasn't able to find one adapter to use Dewalt, Milwaukee or Makita Battery.
