Bought this as my car (Kia Stinger) only has one useb port, and I want to switch between a USB stick with music and an Android phone for Android Auto - and this USB switch delivers the results perfectly. The connected switch makes it really easy to switch between them as well. I separately purchased a short USB3 A male to male cable to make things neat and tidy in my car. Thumbs up from me!

No issues with it so far. It's well-built and works as expected. Depending on your set up, this will vary; I use it in a less than optimal situation - powered USB hub for mouse, keyboard, audio interface (I know, I know...) and other low powered devices but no external drives, connecting to a small micro PC and a laptop - and have had no flakiness.

I bought this as I have a pair of high end wireless headphones, which I use on my PC and my PS4, however to use them I have to keep unplugging from 1 and plugging into the other, which is a pain. So i saw this and thought it would be idea.I have found that when I switch between PC and PS4, it works, but the sound level is low, what I then have to do is unplug the output cable and reinsert it to get full sound, However, this is still much more preferable to the way i used to have to do it as I have fixed the unit to the desk in front of my monitor so it's a quick fix, where as to swap the original cable between PC and PS4 meant scrambling about behind the monitor and under the desk.So It's good as far as I an concerned

This compact USB switcher does what it promises to do. It is responsive so no significant delay when switching between PCs. It has a small light that lights against the number that represents the PC that is active. Built quality is very good, the small box is metal, so very durable.

Great little USB device switch, the remote switch works great as well.Happily sharing one device between 2 computers now without issue.

Has been in use for about a month and continues to work well. The controls are not easy to see, there is a little button that operates the switch and the LED indicator isn't very clear as to which channel it using.

It works as described. Easily switches the connected device between two other devices.However, I noticed something that I did not like and frankly concerned me.In port 1, I had a laptop connected. Turned it on and used the keyboard i connected via the switch with no problem.I also had my PC connected to port 2, but it was turned off. Even though it was off, the other USB devices plugged in powered up. Unplugging my PC from the switch turned them off.It seems the switch is providing power to my PC's USB bus?I will no longer be using the device, because I do not want to damage anything.

I regularly use my pc for leisure and laptop for work at the same desk.Having this allows me to easily switch the keyboard, mouse and headset input/output between the pc and laptop.It's best to match this device up with a simple usb hub to switch multiple USB devices at once.The button is also great. Now I can put actual switch underneath my desk, while the button easily allows me to switch

Ich schalte meine USB Peripherie mittels diesem Switch und einem Hub zwischen 2 PC's hin und her. Dafür habe ich auf Kosten der Garantie den Fernbedienungsknopf modifiziert und parallel dazu ein USB Relais angeschlossen. Mit einem selbstprogrammierten Tool kann ich damit auch per Mausklick schalten. Top.Nun wollte ich einen weiteren Switch kaufen und dazu verwenden ein USB-Gerät vom Strom zu trennen, indem ich den zweiten Eingang einfach unbelegt lasse. Durch eine Vorredner-Rezension wurde ich darauf aufmerksam, dass der Switch den Datenfluss, aber nicht den Strom kappt. Das konnte ich mit meinem vorhandenen Switch einmal testen und ich muss das bestätigen, gerade noch rechtzeitig.Konkret unterbricht der Switch die Stromverbindung und stellt sie ca. 2 Sekunden danach wieder her.Erst wollte ich für das Manko einen Stern abziehen. Dann fiel mir aber ein, dass das mit der Bi-Direktionalität des Geräts zusammen hängen dürfte. Wenn der Ausgang zum Eingang wird, ist eben der für die Stromversorgung des Geräts zuständig. Dazu muss die Stromversorgung sozusagen im Dreieck verdratet sein.Gut, dann ist es halt als Abschalter nicht geeeignet und ich muss eine andere Lösung dafür finden.
