Solid Oak Spice Rack 5 Tiers Holds up to 60 Spice Jars (56cm x 7cm x 73.5cm)

I'll come clean this is the second one of these I've bought. They are excellent used on their own attached to the wall. Where I went wrong was I was so pleased with the first I thought "wouldn't it be great to make a library by putting a back on one hinging the two together so's they opened like a book". Unfortunately they are both just out of perfection in terms of squareness SO a full length piano hinge delivers a gap at the bottom of the closing joint. Not insuperable. But for that small issue which isn't if you are only using one they would definitely have 5 stars. Worth saving your standard spice jars and re-cycling them to hold more exotic things not sold in supermarkets that don't come in jars. Very good product, and looks the business as well.

I really love this spice rack. I've been using it for 2 years, and I'm really happy with it.As other reviews have said, mounting it isn't quite as simple as it should be. I'd also prefer if it were able to accommodate slightly wider spices. It would be nice to be able to securely store larger spices on top of it, for example.On the whole, it's a well-made and attractive spice rack with a large capacity that works really well!

Stores plenty of spice jars as described. timber is thinner in section than i would have liked especially on the larger racks.The screws and cups are steel, brass would have been better as rack is in a kitchen.The nail heads on show are also not very pleasant.still a very nice spice rack but would have rated 5 if these points had been carried outAllan.G

We liked the look of this and it is large enough to accommodate all of the spice/herb jars that we use BUT - the screws and plugs that come with the rack simply aren't adequate to secure what is quite a weighty load to the wall - particularly as when cooking in haste, grabbing jars from the rack often results in a 'pull' against the metal retaining rods (I certainly would not recommend this unit being attached to a plasterboard wall!). All of the comments regarding preparation before fitting are accurate: you will need to drill out holes in the wood and use longer, more substantial screws with appropriate plugs. This omission is unacceptable in a product of this price.

... delivered as promised. It would have been nice had the four fixing holes been pre-drilled, but I suppose drilling them yourself allows some felxibility in positioning the holes in ones wall.Overall very good.

Exactly as described. The finish is very good and seems to be reasonably hard-wearing but time will tell. Fixing instructions and parts are very clear and final fix is solid. Need to be careful not to scuff the retaining bars when holes for the screws are being drilled in the wood. Very minor moan is that nail heads are flush and not buried and filled but they really are hardly visible. For what it is the price is reasonable. The pleasing light oak would IMHO probably sit well alongside many other light woods. It is both functional and very attractive.

nice and big plenty of room for all the spices. well I'd say if you like to have lots of spices and you have room on a wall it keeps them all in one place and you're able to see all the different spices without having to move them around. Perfect.

Really happy with these, bought them to use as nail polish holders at my salon. The only problem was that although they came with screws and plugs, there were no other fixings to be able to secure rack to wall. My partner had to drill holes in the rack so we could fix it. Bit annoying but apart from that they look great.
