Great Sleeve
In Nevada's heat, this is a must on stainless steel pool railings. This is my second grip (a re-order) - the first lasting exactly 3 years before starting to crack and peel. Follow the installation instructions and it goes on easy. Attractive, cool to the touch in the hottest sun, I am pleased with this product.

Awesome product, wish I thought of years ago!
I've had an inground pool for years now and even have an umbrella next to the ladder in my deep end. The problem is, to keep the ladder handle cool, I had to remember to open the umbrella before the sun did it's job heating up the steel handles! When I came across this product, I was reluctant at first, but figured it can be any worse than the kids' hands burning, so I purchased. Once you figure out how to get them on, they're great! they look good, work perfect and not only for the no more hot handles, but just comfortable to hold while pulling out of the deep end. I've had installed for over a month and have not seen any discoloration and it's in the sun for at least 8 hours a day just north of Houston, Tx. Even if the color does fade, I'll have no issues spending $40 or so for another pair each year... well worth it! it matches the color of my water and fiberglass pool, so aesthetically, it's perfect for us! great product and highly recommend.

It really is a two person job to install
Really a snug fit make sure zipper placement is correct because twisting into place isnt going to happen. It means unzippinh it and starting over!

Kool grips
We love our kool grips! You have to purchase 2 since it is sold as a single cover! It is easy to install with two people! I tried by myself at first and it was not easy going around the curves! Kool grips reduces the temperature of the aluminum tremendously here in Florida, plus it dresses them up!

They don't stay cool
Very hard to install compared to others I have had and they also do not stay very cool. The material gets very hot.

Only negative comment is that this Koolgrip cover (4' Teal) is not nearly as cool as we had hoped for in the Arizona sun
A bit hard to get the zipper started but once engaged went on well with a tight fit. The color adds to the pool. Only negative comment is that this Koolgrip cover (4' Teal) is not nearly as cool as we had hoped for in the Arizona sun. Got almost too hot to handle just while putting it on.
