Very easy for young children to share reading.Great value.

This book is faulty. Two of the pages are missing and have been replaced with pages from other parts of the story so the story does not make sense. Very disappointing as I wanted to use this story as part of my class' farm topic.

I have read this to groups of children at a local play group and I love the big bold illustrations. It is nice because at the end the hens shares the bread she makes with her chicks, but not the animals that didn't help. There are lots of details to point out and you can make different voices for the animals.A good version of the well known traditional story.

Our student’s love this story. Everybody can see.

The story is so interesting. Children don't tire of it and it provides and extended lesson to our baking bread.

I am always looking for big books in my classroom. This one is perfect for my farm unit. The kids like this book.

Though I cannot decide if I hear pro-capitalism or pro-community help and support... either way it is awesome.
