Excellent!!
It is a bit on the heavy side,I can’t imagine how hard we would have to work to remove those tiles that are on cement backer board if we didn’t buy this thing. I need it to do around the house I used it to chisel through the foundation wall for its first job and it performed awesome. I’ve got this great tool that I know I’ll find a thousand uses for.

Very good build quality, but not very powerful.
Look at a picture I uploaded with the two different rotary hammer drill, one no name Makita clone, and this Flex. I got the no name hammer drill without a battery for 80 bucks. I have plenty of Makita Batteries here, but that 1.5ah in the picture was what I grabbed for quick comparison against the mighty Flex. I just couldn't believe the flex was not quite as powerful as the cheap Chinese one. I have to admit, the Flex is much better built. Feels much more comfortable to use. My hands don't feel like getting hammered, punt intended. It just does everything a little bit slower, but not by much. The flex case is much tougher than the Chinese case. Unless I need the extra power, I like this Flex a lot better since I don't get fatigued as fast. As far as battery life goes, the included battery lasts just about the same as the Makita clone with at 5AH battery. The Flex is a little lighter with the included battery then the Clone with the 5ah battery. The flex produces less annoying noise. It wouldn't matter that much anyway, since the noise coming from the bit hitting rhe concrete or whatever in front of it will be substantially louder.Overall, I recommend this rotary hammer drill. However, I wish it was just a little bit stronger.
