I'm a big fan of linen, and I like the soft, relaxed, yet classy look that it gives. This one isn't pure linen, it's a 60% linen, 40% rayon mix, according to the care label inside it. The light blue dress that I ordered is a lovely colour, and very good for English summers. If I was heading anywhere really sunny I'd choose a brighter colour, as subtle colours are washed-out in bright sunshine.The dress is a simple over-the-head A-line cut, and it folds down to a compact size, making it ideal for holidays or travel. It feels nice to wear, and is a good length. The finishing is neatly done. I was surprised mine had the space inside that it does, and I could have got away with a size smaller, so it possibly runs on the large side, if anything.The reason for me removing one star is over the way I find that it fits at the front. It seems to hang almost vertically downwards from the front of your breasts, so it tends to make you look a little flat chested, and fat around the waist, if you have a larger bust. You can see a hint of this when the skinny model in the product video turns around briefly - in profile she looks bulkier. If the dress had a slightly more flattering cut, with a bit of gathering, it would help - hence my four star rating. In all other respects, the dress is lovely.

This summer dress is ideal for my needs and to wear for spring/summer time. The dress has a flowy feel and with pockets makes it very handy for wearing as a day to day piece. The casual look of the dress is how i like to feel and this dress is going to be great for wearing around the house. The pockets are quite high up to actually put my hands in sit at a comfortable stance but ok to keep the odd thing in for convieniance. The dress fits nicely the only thing i would change slightly is the sleeve holes are small so feel tight and not flowy like the rest of the dress.At the time of ordering the cost was £24.99 which for this style and the materials used is value for money in my opinion.

Three stars because the material is what it says it is and the sizing is correct (in that I'm typically a UK 16-18 and the XL fits me fine).However: look at the measurements. Compare bust to waist for each size. The cut of this dress assumes you're basically flat as a board.Ah well.

FYI I am a shade under 5' 3", wide shoulders, big bust and usually wear a UK women's XXL.Straight off this dress arrived really badly creased. I expect creases in linen, but this was like the dress had just been screwed up in a ball and stuffed in a bag. Not impressed.I selected a 3XL because there are no zips or buttons on the dress and it has to be put on by pulling over the head. I find that fabrics with no give in them such as cotton or linen can be a struggle to fit over my shoulders and get my arms into the sleeves. I also went a size up because rayon has a tendency to shrinkage - and since this dress is 40% rayon that should be taken into account. Hopefully going a size up will counter any shrinkage issue.The finish is ok - I found a seam where the stitches weren't properly taken up - this is easily remedied, but I shouldn't have to.As a lightweight Summer dress this is ideal - it's made from natural materials and is breathable. It's floaty and long, the colour is nice and the length covers everything I want it to. I like that there are pockets and the A-line style and v-neck are both flattering to most figures.I like it and will wear it on holiday and out and about at home.At £24.99 (as at 15 February 2024) I think this is about the right price to pay. Good but not great.

The dress is light and fairly transparent. There are a couple of stitching errors, but only noticeable if you are really looking for them.It is easy to wear, just a pull over affair, and is loose and comfortable. It actually looks very good on, I love it! On me it is longer than the model in the picture and comes mid-calf (I'm 5'4"). Perfect for some ladylike lounging or to dress up and go out in.
