Small, light-weight
Nifty little light, has everything you may (or may not) need in the box, including a couple of batteries and a zip tie (and some spare O-rings and whatnots). Battery lasts surprisingly long: I've done 3 30-minute dives now on the same battery, it's still going fine, especially surprising since you turn on this light before you go submerge and you turn it off after you're out (I've forgotten to turn mine off for 20 minutes out). One note: this is a small light-weight light, it is not a half-mile torch. It is for near-use mostly, such as to indicate your position/signal to your buddy or to examine a crab. Do not expect it to light up the night.I got two and I'm definitely using both.

Cool bright light with lots of settings.
This thong is pretty cool. It has multiple settings, is very bright, and I don't know anything about scuba diving but it seems to blink every minute. It seems to be good quality and though we haven't used it in the water yet, we do use it daily to look at our rock collection and such.

I had failures on 2 of these lights
I purchased a model DF40 in 2022. I could not get the light to turn on. It seemed that the O-ring would slip out of its groove, fall down upon the electrical contacts in the head, and prevent the light from coming on. I received a replacement light promptly upon return of the first light. The second light had the same issue where the O-ring would not easily stay in place. After many tries, I did get the light to come on, and then took it diving in the Bahamas, but not until July of 2023. I am sad to say the light flooded on the first dive, and now will not on. The light is compact, and stored easily in my BCD pocket. I had a retractable lanyard attached to it from my BCD. Above ground, the light was very bright, and very white, which would make it great for underwater exposure of the true colors of hard and soft coral, as well as any fish or creatures hiding in crevices. As I didn't use the light until well beyond the 30-days from purchase date I cannot return it for a refund.

Bright, good for scuba or snorkeling
It's heavy and kind of large but fits in the hand comfortably. Spouse liked the ease of turning on and off. Light lasted for two, hour+ dives on a single charge.

Top-quality underwater flashlight, well-constructed, EZ to use + bright!!! (6 LED elements)
This is an extremely well-constructed high quality flashlight. It is fairly compact in size, and thanks to the aluminum housing feels strong and durable without being too heavy. Unlike so many other flashlights claiming to be capable of producing a high intensity beam of bright light, this one really is. With six LED elements from Cree's XP line-up, this is far brighter than any of my other flashlights. I didn't order it for diving, as I simply wanted a powerful, reliable flashlight that can withstand the elements for camping as well as for general use. This flashlight also carries an IPX8 rating, so it is not just resistant to rain or being dropped in a stream or puddle, but can remain submerged in water over one meter deep (to the actual depth stated by the manufacturer, in this case to a depth of 150 meters). The flashlight operates on two 5000 mAh rechargeable batteries that are quick and easy to charge. The batteries do have to be removed from the flashlight housing for charging. The charging unit comes with an ASB cord. The length of time the batteries will hold a charge depends on the brightness of the beam of light selected. The power as well as the modes (low, medium, high & super high light intensity) are chosen by turning a sleeve on the neck of the flashlight. The flashlight arrived in perfect condition and packed in a sturdy box with the listed accessories as well as an instruction manual. I'm sure this is way more flashlight than we will ever need, but it definitely provides peace of mind. The current price of $96.99 is certainly pricey, but this flashlight seems well worth the money.

Excellent Diving Light
I purchased this light for my first trip to the Cayman Islands. I used it in 6 dives ranging from 20ft to 110 ft. In overhead coral environments and shipwreck dives, the flashlight easily illuminated the entire room which made the dive more enjoyable, more safe, and easier to capture on video. The light was also helpful in spotting eels and crustacean that like to hide in dimly lit caverns. It works equally well on land as a spot light or security flashlight although it does get hot quickly. The only negative is the provided wrist strap is way too long when diving. It makes streamlining very difficult - but it is easy enough to replace.

Highly recommend for diving and home use
I have always been a fan of diving flashlights as the main flashlight I use around the house. I only discovered this after buying diving flashlights to go snorkeling and cave swimming. I realized they were good flashlights and why go buying separate “water resistant “ flashlights for outdoor use when I can just have an all-purpose flashlight. This flashlight is small, fits in the palm of my hand but is amazingly bright. When I held it up to light up my ceiling, it lit up the room brighter than the room light we have. The UV light has been entertaining for my toddler as he searches the house for things that glow. He has also been having fun playing with it in the tub. I can’t wait until our next snorkeling trip to use this. I will have to get more because everyone wants this new flashlight. This is a good weight, all metal, study flashlight that’s really easy to use. It’s blindingly bright. It comes with a nice strap and ball joint for attaching to cameras and equipment. This is worth getting and keeping around for everyday use and more.

Don't purchase they don't work
After purchasing and using one vacation of diving which was 20 dives, used maybe for 5 two being night dives I store it without the batteries then use it this year and on the second dive it starts flashing and quits. I did change the seals before using and it shows no sign of water intrusion. I like the light so much I bough a back up light (daughter present) and used it first time this vacation and on the second dive it too started to flash then quit working. It too shows no sign of water intrusion. These lights are junk do not purchase them, I can't image being out on a night dive and it flashes then quits working leaving you in total darkness. It should be zero stars.
