She's hopeful that now things will settle down. Although her next task has been set before her. The map is the clue to the next but how to access it. It isn't until she gets a message from a seer that she starts to decipher the map. Only to return to the bakery and have herself and her family face an attack by the child killer and her leeches. Can she and her sentinel plus her faithful vamp unlock the clues and find the instruments? Will they all survive? Will the dragons stand with her or against her? A great plot with the characters really making the actions theirs. Although I must admit that I was surprised by the dragons response. A bit more loyalty to her would have been good as she has definitely earned it.

From the first book through to the last, not wanting to put the books down .on my way to work, my lunch hour and on my way home, following jade , her life and all the characters through every twist and turn, I simply couldn't put them down. I,m bereft now the stories have come to an end. Endless possibilities for future writing I,m hoping. Meghan is now one of my favourite author's. These are the first books I've read from her, but oh so not the last.

Good stories and great characters. My only gripe is the product placement for Fluevog, Peg and Awl, Matt & Nat, Ritual chocolate etc). Lose the ubiquitous split infinitives and adolescent street talk from 20-something Jade (so not cool) and it would be a perfect 5 Star.

Absolutely loves this series I read them all in under a week and that's with having 2 jobs and being a wife and mum haha but seriously it's a fab read as it has everything in it I love !!! Chocolate ,romance,comedy and supernatural I'm now waiting on the next one :-)

Fantastic 5th book, I heart Jade, Kett and Kandy, they all kick ass really well! I don't want too give much away, except you've surpassed yourself again with another funny and original story, thank goodness for the Sentinel as there's always time for that in anyone's life.

Waiting for book 6 to come out as this series has really kept me facinated to see what happens next. I couldn't put the books down until i had read them to the end.

This series is so worth reading I'd you like dragons, witches, vampires etc. A very unputdownable series of books .

Love these books. Got my gripped to the very end. Definitely read the series. You'll be hooked. And in love with Kett. Well I definitely loved him anyway!
