Color is dark brown when you first do it and then after multiple washes is a bit darker red than shownOnly covered greys for about 2 weeks, and dried out hair a bitIf it was 4-5 buck a box on amazon prime pantry I would rate it higher, but the carrying price on alternative carriers is too high on amazon for the quality, since I can buy in store with coupons from coupons.com

Product washed out easily and was not enough for my hair. I have fine hair to my shoulders.

I tried this on my dark brown hair without using bleach and got what I wanted! I was aiming for a slight red tint that wasn't too bold. The color is especially visible in the sun. I fee like it did not damage my hair very much at all.

The color is great, I have used it before. I ordered 6 but one of the boxes was damaged and the color tube was leaking.

This is only the second time I've ever colored my hair at home - I normally pay big bucks at the salon, but I wanted to see if I could get rid of the grey hair myself and on my schedule. I've always had red /copper mixed with my brown hair as my natural color, but I started going grey in my late 20s and went full auburn/red from then on.This #66 is the closest shade I could find to the one my salon has done for 15 years. (I found this at the local grocery store for the same price, but I'll totally add this to my next Pantry order) My hair is very thick and reaches the small of my back, so I bought two boxes and ended up using almost all of them. It took me about 15 minutes to get every hair covered, another 23 minutes for the color to set up, then the rinsing and conditioning in the shower followed by drying. Total time invested was just right at an hour - not bad at all. The fumes are still lingering in our master bathroom two hours later, so now I've got the air purifier running at turbo.My hair is a rich, copper red that is reflecting light and looks amazing. This is not a shy or subtle red either it's a red that screams self confidence and fun. I'm not impressed with the included conditioner, it just didn't feel like my hair usually does with my regular conditioner. I actually rinsed a second time and used my normal Loreal conditioner - my hair is soft and looks healthy. No dryness here. I'm really surprised at how well this experiment has gone and I really like this color.
