BOTARO 20 lbs. Seiryu Stone Rock Aquarium Mixed Size by SevenSeaSupply

I purchased two of these, so 40 lbs in total from SevenSeaSupply (they both shipped separately). I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The complimentary extra rock is great (I got a generously sized one in each package), and the pieces I received looked great. I was scaping a rock wall (rather than the iwagumi style common with seriyu stone) and the size assortment allowed me to build a nice sturdy and tall structure in my tank. There will always be a few rocks that aren't as pretty to me, but those were perfect for the base of my wall. I had rocks with a rich grey and very little veining, some medium grey with a bit more veining, and a few lighter grey with heavy veining (my least favorite). Some are big and heavy, others flat and angled. Some of them were more blocky in shape while others had the familiar layering effect of seriyu stone. Overall, I'm very happy with the rocks and how my tank turned out. I tried to include photos of the final product as well as the dry rocks. They came quite clean and just required a little rinse before being placed in the tank.

This was one of the best Stone purchases I have ever made! Not only did the stones vary in size but there was a lot of them including bonus amounts. Imagine getting more than you paid for these days. Shipping was lightening fast, and the stones were packed vary well, or at least as well as one can when shipping rocks! I will definitely buy from this seller again.

I am very pleased with my order..I received about 26 pounds of rock, and a co2 tablet sample, and 2 dietary shrimp food products. Some rocks didn't have much character, but, I can't complain when I received 6 pounds more than I bought. Most had amazing character though, and once I do the hardscape for my 30 gallon, I'll be sure to include some pictures.

Very nice pieces. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because one of the rocks smelled bad and had to be scrubbed and soaked. Each piece was individually wrapped. Fast shipping. Thank you :)

Seiryu stone is coveted in aquariums for its unique and intricate look, jagged edges, and often heavily textured features. However, the stones I received in no way reflect those which are advertised on the product description. They are flat, bulbous and altogether featureless. In other words, I could have found (better) rocks locally and not paid the $73 they cost to ship.

The rocks I got did not have nearly the amount to textures and variations the ones in the pictures do.! I was only happy with one of the rocks. Not a great deal for what I paid!
