Q: Im trying to make a kinda of glowing willow tree but im not really sure how to mount it or what length i would need, any tips?

I am not at all sure that you will achieve the effect you are going for. By design, the light comes out of this cable ONLY at the very end. It is just a dot of light that you have to be looking straight at to see. It is not lit up all along the length of the cable. So, if you are using strands of this cable as the drooping willow branches, I don't think you will like the effect since the cut ends of the cable will be pointing more or less straight down.
