Pretty straightforward product. Works perfectly. I like that the switch is lit when it's on and dark when it's off. I use this for Amazon's horrible Echo Show device that always shows ads and doesn't have an on-off switch, so now I only turn it on, with this switched plug, when I want to listen to music and I can easily switch it off the rest of the time. Also comes in handy for Amazon's Fire TV, which also doesn't have a power switch so it stays in "standby" mode constantly using power when not in use, presumably so it will start up faster when turning it on, but at least once a week when I turn it on from "standby" it crashes and reboots itself anyway, so now I use this switched plug to just shut down the TV completely when not in use. I would definitely buy more of these if I needed them.

These adapter switches work perfect when the item, surface mounted ceiling lights in my case, need to be controlled. Just plus one of these adapters into a convenient receptacle, then plug your item (light) into the adapter and now you can control a difficult to access item easily.

I have a multi-charger and a game that I wanted to keep plugged in, but not powered up all the time. This is a great device for this. It's inexpensive, well made, and does the job.

Decent on/off inline switches.

I love these things in particular for fairy lights that have no on/off switch of their own. Instead of having to plug in lights when I want them on, I can use one of these and just flip the switch instead -- this is particularly useful if the outlet being used is in an awkward spot where plugging/unplugging is tricky. These are also useful for lamps whose twist-switches are failing/broken, if you don't mind using an outlet switch instead (a niche use).The switch being on the side is good for two reasons: 1) anything that might drop onto the the plugs won't accidentally flip the switch and 2) other items plugged into the same outlet won't interfere with access to the switch since it's on the side. Lastly, these particular switches are a smaller form-factor than others I've used and so take up a bit less space on an outlet.

I needed this to turn on a motor without plugging and unplugging. It worked great and will buy again.

I have a decorative lighted Christmas item in our entryway that has a simple wall plug. So we have to plug it in at night and then unplug it before going to bed. The way I have it set up to hide the cord makes plugging and unplugging a bit of a pain. This is such a useful product! Simple to use, just plug it into the wall and then plug in whatever you have that doesn't have an on/off switch and problem solved! I appreciate the design in that it's small and has the on/off switch on the side so that you don't even really notice it's there. I highly recommend this product and shipping was super quick too. I'm so glad I ordered the 3 pack which is a great value and because I know I can use this for at least one other holiday item in our home.
