The spirit of George lives on...
I already own both the original CD and DVD versions of this concert but when I became aware that a new edition was to be released, I had to have it. I justified it to myself by rationalising that I needed the Blu-Ray version for the improved picture quality. I have reviewed the CD elsewhere so I won't go over old ground apart from to recommend this as possibly the finest concert you'll ever see, it's become my favourite and I've seen many fantastic concerts, either in person or experienced vicariously through different media. The purity and spirituality of George's music shines through, not one of the stellar performers attempts to steal the show, it's all about George. It's an incredibly moving occasion and I never fail to watch it without developing 'something in my eye'. Just a quick word about Clapton, he has achieved many things during his long career including rewriting rock history at least three times, but I think that this ranks up there as one of the best things he's ever done...I've said this before but as a musical director and curator he excels...the Crossroads series of concerts that he's staged are also testament to that. This is the finest tribute to a great musician you could wish for...Bless You George.

Pure Gold Concert.
George was the best of the Beatles in my opinion his music seems to have more depth and meaning than the other three, don’t get me wrong all the Beatles had their own musical talents but I preferred George’s compositions from the start in the early days when they started out but the pinnacle was All Things Must Pass album of which many tracks are performed on this disc by some of George’s best friends and his son Dhani. This 2 disc set really is a MUST for any genuine George Harrison fan.

First class.
The best concert I've heard without doubt. The ' band ' that was put together couldn't be faulted. Everyone was at the top of their game, in my opinion, with Andy Fairweather Low, Albert Lee (underused imo ) and Marc Mann outstanding . It's hard to single out anyone really...! If you like/love the music of the " Quiet Beatle " then this is for you, you definitely wont be disappointed.

Great record vinyl quality not perfect.
This is an absolutely fabulous concert, I already have it on DVD and CD but thought I'd like it on vinyl too. The packaging is okay but poly lined record sleeves would be better than cardboard as records do tend to get scuffed with use if not. Fortunately I have spare poly lined sleeves. The vinyl itself is not as pristine as you woulds expect from a premium record collection. Several records have light scuff marks/finger prints so I thoroughly cleaned the records before use and they play perfectly. The Beatles in Mono and George Harrison collection box sets in vinyl I have purchased were absolutely in perfect order when inspected upon delivery. If you like vinyl and George Harrison's music this is a must buy.

Great tribute to the life and music of George Harrison.
A great concert featuring many talented musicians. I thoroughly enjoyed the video and the music they performed was excellent. I haven't had a chance to watch the documentary disc yet but I am sure that it will be very interesting. The two CDs replicate the music on the blue ray disc. Very pleased!

THE no.1 rock concert ever.
A great concert covering the life and times of George Harrison, possibly the most undervalued song writer of his age. I recommend anyone interested in music of any genre to watch this to appreciate how his music covered such a large sphere of the musical spectrum.
