Nice cream and it did help a little but the smell is horrendous and if you rub it in just a little too long then it goes so grainy you have to wash your hands and start again or run them on a towel to remove the residue. I have switched to a different hand cream now

Pro: A very light moisturiser, easily absorbed and not too greasy. Seems to work well.Con: I really, really should have bought the lavender-scented one. This version states that it is unscented, which is true in that no scent has been added. I wasn't,however, prepared for the strong sunflower oil smell, though with hindsight I suppose that I should have been, given the name... It really did smell as though I'd stuck cooking oil on my face. The smell is relatively slight, and does wear off, but it wouldn't be a strong selling point unless you have a frying fetish.I shall use the tube up, not as a moisturiser when I intend to socialise shortly afterwards, but as something to pop on problem areas at night.

Having an allergic reaction to (??) and N.H.S. patch tests haven't helped to identify the problem but this cream seems to be calming the skin on my neck and face. Hate to use the dreaded steroid cream they dish out and have high hopes for this. Wasn't too impressed when I first used it as it sat on my skin like a white face mask (think of Queen Elizabeth 1st with the powered face) but it does eventually sink in. It's probably an extremely good barrier cream but don't expect instant results to feel soft and supple particularly if you have a very dry skin. Doesn't smell too good either but who cares if it does the job. Will definitely buy more.

I read a review in a newspaper regarding this moisturizing cream, and so I thought I would try it.I suffer with dermatitis and was hoping it may help.. The cream itself was okay but it really did not do any better for me than any other cream I have tried. I ordered the unscented version just in case of any irritation,but to be fair I would not order this again.

This was a repeat purchase for my dear wife. She reckons it's far and away the best and most effective hand cream that she's tried (and believe me, she's tried quite a few...). She particularly likes the fact that it is relatively unperfumed, that it soaks in very well leaving no greasy residue in the skin, and above all she likes the fact that it's extremely effective! I'll be buying it again...

This cream used to work so well on my very dry, itchy, eczema prone hands. It was a godsend to me after trying literally hundreds of other products. However after buying some recently which came in the new packaging I noticed straight away that it didn't smell the same - it used to smell very strongly of sunflower oil - not anymore. Unfortunately along with smell, the effectiveness of the cream has also gone. I noticed after just a few days of using the new tube that my hands were very dry again and the cream now seems to irritate my skin and cause itching. I wondered if I'd got a duff batch, but after checking the My Trusty website, I discovered that the formula was changed at the same time as the packaging. I am gutted, I have literally spent years trying to find something to help my dry hands, and this was the one product that made a real difference. Not anymore. This product now has zero moisturising effect for me, and causes my eczema to flare. So beware if you have very sensitive skin.
