Check manufacturing date!
The boots are well made and very comfortable. They are on the heavy side, but should last a longtime. My only complaint is with Amazon. I purchased these boots 09/20/21 as new directly from Amazon and when I got them the manufacturing date on the inside states 2019. I'm concerned since Viking states over time the boot degrades. So does this mean the boots have already degraded 2 years. I would think Amazon would have a fresh supply and these would have been made in 2021

Love these boots for wet weather tasks
Love these boots. I've been using them when I'm doing heavy duty tasks in wet weather and they have been durable. I have confidence that my feet and ankles are protected. The toe box area is comfortable and the ankle area is snug but not too tight. The calves are wide enough that I can tuck my safety pants in them without them feeling tight. They have been well worth the investment.

Loves these. I use them to take the dog ...
Loves these. I use them to take the dog out in the rain. WAY overkill for my needs but perfectly satisfactory just the same.

Excellent product!
These were given as a gift to my father, who is a retired firefighter, and he says they're the best ever! Comfortable fit and great protection for his feet when he does work outside and what not! I may soon purchase a pair of these for myself!

Five Stars
Needed a good all around safety boot that was waterproof and chainsaw rated. You will not be disappointed.

Work well for a limited period of time
I paid for 200$ boots as I believed they would last. With moderate use over a year the boots cracked and the rubber failed on the top of the foot rendering them useless for chainsaw protection let alone keeping the feet dry. This may be because they were used in all seasons including the Canadian winter they may work better in the country of manufacture.
