Blackstone Publishing Hell Divers VI: Allegiance

This is one of a series and a very good read, couldn't put it down.

I can not get enough of these books! I was so scared this was going to be the last book! There’s so much that goes on in this book and the excitement and action really keeps the reader into it! Can’t wait for the next instalment!!

I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series so far. I like post-apocalyptic sci-fi, but too often they devolve into gore, horror, or worse a trash novel. This series keeps the action, creatures, and relationships engaging without turning it into something you feel uncomfortable reading. The action is fast paced and you care about the characters. There is also plenty of things to keep your imagination running. I highly recommend this series if you like this genre and ordering from Blackstone directly through Amazon was quick and the books came in excellent condition.

Finally got back to catching up on my reading and this author's 6th book in his "Hell Divers" series was the right book to crank it up again. I am a big fan of post apocalyptic literature, and this series is my all time favorite one. I also love Nicholas Smith's works and have read everything he's written, and can't wait for next installments.Book VI was a speed ride from page one to the end, and I love the creativity and depth he gives to his characters and the events. of the story. He has a very subtle way of introducing new characters to the story line. Must admit he also creates a very uninviting world! Got to the last 30 or 40 pages and could not put it down, so was up very late last night/this morning bringing it to an end!!! Come on volume VII, as he has left us hanging in a very critical expectation!!!

Good but book lacked rhythmI tired of X and Rhino trying to keep the peace between the two clans.By the time Christ the Redeemer made an appearance i was struggling to finish.The Walking Dead has the Whisperers a mysterious group that wears the skins of walkers to mask their presence.Hell Divers has Skinwalkers who flay hides off of men and wear them as trophies.Some good fight scenes with mutated whales and worms.Surprised how easy the skinwalkers overpowered the hell divers.On to book VII3 weeks to deliver the book.I understand essential items taking priority but 3 weeks?I don't like reading from a Kindle but that's the only option.P.S. I ordered toothbrushes and toothpaste hope that doesn't take 3 weeks.
