Fun and practical!
I like to make presents for children of a jar "full" of marshmallows! Then watch their little faces fall as fast as the marshmallows deflate right in front of their greedy little eyes!Just kidding! It's all fun because I let them "help" "funflating" the marshmallows, first!I love storing stuff under vacuum. It makes me feel better about food storage knowing that my foods will remain fresh tasting as long as possible.Yeah, it's a "luxury" for most food items, but you pay astronomical prices for food (or even better: you GROW IT YOURSELF) and you want to enjoy it as much when you get back to it as you enjoy it the day you jar the item.I have conducted experiments! Half a bag of chips in a plain glass jar and half the bag in a vacuum sealed jar. I let two weeks go by and found the vacuum sealed chips demonstrably fresher. The entire house had fun "blind taste testing" the chips and no one guessed a single chip wrong.Obviously certain items jar better than others.Even if you don't do much cooking or gardening or anything, you still might enjoy keeping your weed under vacuum, or maybe even just the second half of the bag of pretzels. That's totally valid. You pretzel people deserve freshness as much as the farmers and urban bread bakers!Keep your food fresh and fun.

I can use my mason jars for storage and seal them airtight
I inherited a bunch of mason jars of all sizes and I've been wanting to use them but I'm not a canner. So my pantry has boxes of rice, cereal, noodles and dried beans that are just piled on top of each other taking up real estate. So I saw this and was excited to try and see if I could use up the jars and organize my pantry and this vacuum sealer is amazing it fits both large mouth and small mouth jars so I can use up these jars and have no issues of only being stuck using one size opening of jar. This is easy to use there's no special lid you need just the correct size for the jar and it's a one button operation just put on the lid put the jar sealer on it making sure it's pushed down on the jar and press the button it does the rest. It removes the air and shuts off when it's done you just remove it and can then store the jar like it is or put a jar ring on..which I like adding a piece of cloth then putting the ring on giving it a country flair and now I can make jar gifts that is sealed so nothing can get into the jars plus having them airtight I feel prolongs freshness. So this is a extremely handy for me since I don't can and I now have a way of storing my dry goods to prolong freshness and keeping our contaminates. This is a great price and it's a great value because you're not wasting dry goods by them going bad plus you're able to use jars for storage so no plastics or bags.

handy tool for preserving food, compact, rechargeable
a handy tool for preserving food. It’s compact, rechargeable, and works with both wide and regualr mason lids. we had some issues w/ sealing performance and the learning curve in its operation. it’s useful for preserving dried goods, but not other types

Fits both standard sized jars, creates a VERY nice vacuum
These have become one of my favorite storage solutions, as versus the overpriced "Food S4ver" jars ... This unit has excellent suction, seals the lid of your jar quickly and completely - Definitely a VERY important tool in your arsenal of Kitchen Storage Supplies

Nice way to keep food fresh longer
For the price, this is a great way to suck the air out of jars and bags then store them in the freezer or wherever they should go and make the food last longer. I love this little device. Comes with some extra goodies which is nice to have. It's small enough to not take up too much room in my kitchen drawer. Seems to hold a charge well enough. I don't use it all the time but it's really nice to have when I need it.

Homemaker's Friend
I've been on the lookout for a simple solution to cut down on food waste, so I decided to give this jar vacuum sealer a try. To my surprise, it's more than just a sealer—it's a complete kit that includes the necessary lids, and even comes with a handy can opener.Using this sealer couldn't be easier; its straightforward design and compact size make it a perfect fit for my pantry. With just the push of a button and 60 seconds, it creates a tight seal effortlessly. Thanks to its simplicity, I've been able to preserve more fresh veggies and fruits without them going to waste. Because it extends their fridge-life, I've been able to stretch the week's groceries even further. What's even better is that I discovered I can also use it to remove excess moisture from rinsed items by vacuum sealing them with a paper towel. Overall, it's been a game-changer in my efforts to reduce food waste. I plan to use this also in the wintertime - prepping jars with layered ingredients for holiday cookies or something, seal them and present them cute for personal gifts.

Found dried food in the inner section
I wish I had checked this out right after I received it but didn’t have anything to test it on until today. Not only does it not seal any jar I apparently was sent one that someone else had returned because it had dried food in the inner section used for the large mason jar.It does not suck out any air, once done or supposedly done and you remove the devise the tin lid comes off showing it didn’t seal anything.I got this because canning is a long tedious time consuming job and I thought this would be quicker but I learned real quick that it only caused problems. Perhaps I got a bad device because of being sent a defective item that someone else returned otherwise why was there dried food in it. Returned items should never be sent out to new customers.
